Villa in Greece

The Villa is lovely and the view is spectacular. I could sit for hours enjoying the sight of the water, sky and surrounding lands. It was very peaceful and tranquil. The trek up to the villa is as stated..challenging and not for the faint hearted. You definitely want a car and don’t want to have to trek up on foot. We had an issue with the oven smoking the first time we tried to use it and the product guide was of no use to us as it was not in English. Gina, however, was quite helpful, checking that it was working correctly but just was in need of additional cleaning. She went out of her way to pick up dinner and wine for us that night. Gina also arranged a lovely driver to take us wine tasting in Nemea and made reservations for us at an excellent local restaurant. We had an issue with the red Sahara dust coming in and being thicker than usual, this limited our ability to use the outside areas. We also had to become accustomed to turning on the boiler for hot water when we wanted to shower. There is no restroom on the living area level so during the day you have to go up or down a flight of stairs for its use. We really enjoyed Tolo and found it easy to navigate Nafplio as well. There is so much to do and see in the immediate area. We visited ancient sites, enjoyed wine tasting and restaurants and small shops. Would like to have time to explore some of the tours on the water next time we visit.
