Living Area:

Bedroom: Ocean view room with California king size bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with usb chargers, TV with cable, ceiling fan, and sliding lanai door access that leads to lanai. There is also a digital safe for your use.



Bathroom: accessible from bedroom or living room and features walk in shower, single sink vanity, fresh towels, and luxury organic bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha.



Common area: Ocean view open floor plan consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 4 people, Smart TV with cable, pull out sofa sleeper, and sitting chairs. There is a closet with beach gear which consists of beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler only(NO snorkel gear).



Lanai:

Spacious private lanai (150 sq ft) with seating for dining and lounging — panoramic views of the ocean and neighboring islands.

📍 LOCATION

Located on West Maui’s Kahana coastline, just a half-mile from Pohaku Beach Park.

Walk to restaurants, rental shops, and convenience stores.

A short drive north to Kapalua and south to Kāʻanapali for more dining, beaches, and golf.

Across the street is Kahana Gateway Center, a small shopping center with restaurants such as the Maui Brewing Company. McDonalds, Whaler's convenience store, a gas station, a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and ATMS are also located in the Center.



🚗 PARKING & FEES

Parking: $18/day + tax, payable directly at the front desk upon check-in

Damage Insurance Fee: $100 covers up to $1,500 in accidental damage. Accidents happen — we have you covered.



⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES



🚧CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Stucco repair work is ongoing at the resort. It does not affect amenities like the pool, fitness center, lobby, or elevators, but light noise may occur during daytime hours.



🗝️UNIT CONDITION: This unit is older and not remodeled. It’s immaculately clean and well-stocked, but furnishings and décor are dated. Please consider this before booking if you prefer modern interiors.



🌊BEACH CONDITIONS:

The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our HOA, The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.



This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may not be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance. Photos taken on 1/16/2023 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.



🏨ZONING: This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short term rental ban.



🦎🐓PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.



☀️CLIMATE: Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
