We really enjoyed our stay! The view was absolutely beautiful and it was so nice to be able to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean at night. The walk to the beach was relatively easy and it was nice to just relax on the beach and be so close to be able to run up and get whatever we needed.

Great Stay!

The location was perfection. We had plenty of space for our two families and loved being right on the beach. We had a couple minor issues but the property manager was very quick to respond and fix things. I wouldn't rule out us staying here again in the future.

Great family place

We love Navarre Beach and this place was perfect! Beautiful views of the ocean, plenty of room, short sandy walk to the beach, well equipped kitchen, lots of books, beach towels, beach equipment and we just felt so at home. I honestly can't think of any negatives!!

Amazing house right on the beach!

This is the third time that our family has vacationed in Navarre and hands down this place is the best! The house was perfect for our family of five. Our kids (13,15,17) loved having a room to themselves for the stay. Having vacationed at beach houses along the gulf many times, it really makes a big difference to be right on the beach like this house. We kept the curtains open and woke up with the sunrise. We had our coffee and breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach. The house has everything we needed for a day at the beach (umbrellas, plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys etc,). We didn't have to pack a lunch because we were just steps from the house and its easy to go back for a bite and then head back to the beach. We took a night time stroll along the beach because the beach is right there! For good local seafood, I recommend Scooters (so good we ate there twice) and Dewey Desitn's. At Dewey's, you can eat outside with your toes in the sand. We took a boat trip to go snorkeling and dolphin watching in nearby Walton Beach area. The difference between being a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and being right on the beach is huge! We were able to come and go from the beach and that made it much more enjoyable and we got more beach time! There was plenty of room for our family of five. I'm telling you, you will love this house! We haven't been back to the other places we stayed on Navarre Beach, but we will come back to this house! We love this house!!

Beyond excellent location & communication!

We came as a family of 6 and the property couldn’t have been better equipped to meet all of our needs. My family of 4, vacations at least 3 times a year & this house, far and away, had the most comfortable pillows we’ve ever found at a rental or hotel. There are some very minor flaws in the primary suite balcony but with the storms that came through the week before we got there, we were surprised that was it. Besides, nobody comes to the beach for the patio furniture. We ran in to an issue on our final day & I contacted the property managers. All 4 of them sprang in to action & corrected it for me, immediately! As a teacher & mom to teenagers involved in 400 activities combined with the social lives of Paris Hilton in the early 2000’s, I’m not used to being taken care of. They actually gave me a gift that I didn’t know how badly I needed, simply by caring about me & my experience. I will absolutely seek out their rental properties again in the future if we find ourselves back on the Emerald Coast!

Amazing location!

Jen's Cottage is a great location and fully stocked vacation rental. The beach is steps away and not overcrowded. There are three decks to watch sunrise and dolphins. The rental is beautifully decorated and had lots of extras. There are plenty of grocery store options close by. We have been going to the Gulf for many years and everyone in our family rated this the best place so far. Thanks for a great setting to a wonderful family vacation!

Simply the Best

In a selfish way I don’t want to review this property. I want it to be my secret! We were at Jen’s Creole Cottage for a week. This is hands down my favorite beach place ever! And we’ve been vacationing on the Emerald coast for 60 years! The decor is so perfect-much better than pictured because you can’t feel the comfortable down cushions of the sand colored sofa pillows or see the carefully curated sea-themed Fitz and Floyd lamps and gorgeous teal vintage USA pottery. Original art, wonderful library, great DVDs and a large cabinet full of games and puzzles will provide plenty to do on rainy days. We cooked most nights and the kitchen has every single pot, pan, serving dish or utensil that anyone could want or need. Plenty of beach chairs, sand toys, fishing equipment. We loved the master suite on the third floor. So spacious and a beautiful view from the private deck. Amazingly comfortable bed. There is not a single thing I would change about this property. It was perfect! Thanks Jen for sharing!!

Lovely home

There are many wonderful things to say about this home. The kitchen was very nice and really well stocked with mostly anything you need to make meals (and we make most meals of our meals in the home). We also really appreciated the extra beach chairs, the paddle board, and other beach items that we have never had at other places we have rented on Navarre Beach.The master bed might have been one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The main deck had very nice furniture. Overall it was just a lovely home. The down sides weren’t many. The master bedroom is on third floor, so you do have to do several sets of stairs (this wasn’t a down side for us but for someone who may have less mobility, it might be). The house is right next to a public beach access, so there are defintely more people on the beach around you (that was the reason for 4 star on location). The TV in the main room could use an update (we don’t like to watch TV on vacation but the one bad weather day we wanted to watch and it just wasn’t the easiest TV to navigate—however the TV in the master bedroom was a smart TV and that was very nice!) We would 100% get this place again if it was available when we come back to Navarre.

Condo was great, had everything we needed! My only complaint is the master suite had a very bad musty odor. There was a dehumidifier in the bedroom so we ran it the whole time we were there, but the smell was pretty bad.

We loved the Creole Cottage. The layout is perfect for families to visit and yet have their own quiet rooms to relax! The location to the beach was perfect. It’s been a while since we visited Navarre beach but we plan to return! Only thing that would have made the stay better would have been a pool!

Location and size

The place was great for our family and as described. Plenty of room and well stocked. Be prepared to climb stairs, master suite is 50 stairs up from ground. Also, with being the top floor it has a dehumidifier that has to run, keep it going and you are good. We had to empty every 4 hours, to stay dry in room. Could probably hard wire this in to not need and drain. All in all, a great stay and great spot.

Great Place for the Family

Very clean, neat, and enjoyable. The reviews talked about the upstairs top bedroom having humidity issues. This is correct but if you dumped the humidifier 2 or 3 times a day the room would stay cool. This was the only blemish on a perfect week. We stay every year on a new beach for years and this was the best accommodations we have ever had. Water was equal to Seaside, Fort Walton, Destin....Eastward. Very uncrowded and low key, just the way we like it!

Beautiful house setting on the beach behind beautiful dunes!

This is a beautiful house located only a short walk from the beach & ocean. There are cute crabs everywhere! Even though it is by a public beach access we only saw very nice people and felt very safe & secure. The only small problem was the room size of the rooms with the twin (comfortable) beds, which made it a bit challenging to get around and unpack/ pack our suitcases. Also, could use more hangers. However, the twin rooms had beautiful ocean views with a connecting porch! There were plenty of beach chairs, etc. Thanks Diana, for being so helpful with our stay!

Beautiful town house!

Definitely worth every penny. Very nice town house with lots of room. The townhouse literally had everything you need for the beach. Beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, toys, fishing stuff, games and much much more. Beds were also super comfortable. Other things we loved were the 3 balconies, 3 1/2 nice bathrooms, big kitchen and nice living room. Would definitely recommend!
