The beautiful veranda has stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the Koufonisia islands. The entire estate is approximately 10 acres, with small olive trees and vineyards. The entire house and surrounding acres are available to guests. The area is quiet, with the natural elements of the sea and nature taking center stage. Additionally, for those wishing to explore the island uniquely, we offer e-bikes for rent. The Marathitis Cottage House is located far from public transportation, so guests will need to arrange their own transportation. Parking your car on the property is extremely easy due to the unlimited outdoor space.

The Location
Marathitis is a serene and authentic area in southern Naxos, known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Its name comes from the Greek word “marathos” (fennel), which once grew abundantly in the area. The area is ideally located near some of Naxos’s most beautiful beaches. Marathitis Beach is just 500 meters away (about a 6-minute walk), while the famous Psili Ammos Beach and the paradise-like Panormos Beach are within 5 km. Kanaki Beach is also nearby, and the picturesque fishing village of Moutsouna is just 8 km away. Marathitis is situated 19 km from the mountain village of Apeiranthos and about 46 km, roughly an hour and a half drive from Naxos Town, the port, and the airport.
