Beachybu is a 3 min walk to our neighborhood beach stop with views, nature & wildlife. You’ll love our location, privacy & a cozy yet spacious cottage charm, outside deck & nature. Beachybu is good for couples, a small group of friends & families (with kids). It's a peaceful vacation community ~ relax and get away from it all where you can enjoy the beach, glorious sunsets, forest trails & fresh air! Indiana State Dunes Park is a short ride away that also has great hiking trails. This serene retreat provides a peaceful escape that feels like a true home away from home. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Michiana and exploring neighboring New Buffalo, Michigan City or Three Oaks.
The cottage is comprised of three sleeping rooms: a queen bedroom, a twin bedroom and a third sleeping room with a double bed as well as two sitting rooms, a dining room, kitchen, two contemporary bathrooms, recreational area and deck. Two sitting rooms offer options for hangout spots. The living room with smart TV is a great place to cozy up for the night or be social, while the sun room can be kept for playtime or reading a book away from others.
The various skylights and windows bring in great natural light in most of the house that feels cozy and charming. The central AC and heat are there for your comfort and we also have great ceiling fans so you can keep the cottage open with fresh air if you so desire. The backyard had a deck with grill, great for eating outside and enjoying nature- we have tons of birds for birdwatching and deer walking through the yard. The backyard also has a stone patio with optional fire pit or just to meditate peacefully in nature.

It is 2 - 4 blocks to a choice of two different beach stops and a 15 minute walk to a third beach, a 9 minute drive to New Buffalo and a 10-15 minute drive to the Lighthouse Outlet Shopping Center. It is walking distance to a nature trail along the creek as well as local playgrounds. We have vintage bikes for some great rides with breathtaking views along Lakeshore Drive or in the forested streets
