Vasara Cottage, named after the Latvian word for “summer,” is a spacious, one-level chalet-style holiday home nestled along the tranquil shores of the Stanley River. Just minutes from Stanley Bridge, New London, Kensington, and Cavendish, it’s the ideal home base for exploring Prince Edward Island or simply relaxing in a peaceful, scenic setting.

Step inside to a bright, open-concept living area with soaring ceilings that combines the kitchen, dining, and living spaces. The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and additional small appliances, perfect for preparing meals with ease. Three comfortable queen bedrooms accommodate six guests, and a queen pull-out sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space. A three-piece washroom with washer and dryer adds convenience for longer stays.

Enjoy the outdoors on the wrap-around deck with pergola, offering serene views of the Stanley River, perfect for morning coffee, evening meals, or watching the sunset. Unwind in the private seven-person hot tub after a day of PEI adventures or a round of golf at one of the nearby world-class courses.

Vasara Cottage offers both adventure and relaxation right on the property. Keep entertained with cable TV, Wi-Fi, an electric fireplace, and a recreation shed filled with games and activities. Enjoy leisurely paddles down the Stanley River with two kayaks, a canoe, and a stand-up paddleboard. Bicycles are available for family rides, and children will love the play structure with swings and slide. Outdoor games include badminton, croquet, and horseshoes, while the firepit provides the perfect spot for evening bonfires and s’mores.

Centrally located, Vasara Cottage is only 20 minutes from Summerside and 40 minutes from Charlottetown. Kensington, just 10 minutes away, offers grocery stores, a pharmacy, and other conveniences. Cavendish is a 15-minute drive, where you’ll find family-friendly attractions, amusement parks, beaches, restaurants, and shops.

Set in the countryside with pastoral views and frequent sightings of great blue herons and bald eagles, Vasara Cottage also welcomes well-behaved pets for a small additional fee.
