Situated on the edge of The New Forest and only 10-minutes' drive from the coast, Vivian Lodge is ideally located for many amazing local attractions in both Hampshire and Dorset.
This two-bedroom two-bathroom lodge sits on the highly rated Hoburne Bashley holiday park, which has great facilities and a family-friendly atmosphere.
The lodge is extremely well equipped thanks to its modern design, integrated appliances, and clever storage â yet feels homely, cosy, and spacious too.
The main master bedroom lies at the rear of the lodge with its own private ensuite WC and plenty of natural light. There's a comfy kingsize bed with large padded headboard; plus lots of bedroom storage including bedside cabinets either side, vanity unit, drawers, and wardrobes. There's also a 32" smart TV, carpets underfoot, and various ambient lighting.
The ensuite WC has a toilet, wash basin, mirror and shelf.
Next along the hallway, the main family shower room features a good sized walk-in shower with excellent water pressure, a toilet, a wash basin with cupboard underneath, and mirror.
The second bedroom toward the middle of the lodge is a twin single room. This has two single beds each with padded headboards, a small shared bedside cabinet between, a single wardrobe with a couple of drawers, and a TV.
Into the main open plan living and dining area, the kitchen has been brilliantly designed with a host of appliances seamlessly integrated into the cupboards including a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, 4-burner gas hob plus extractor, microwave, and washing machine. There's also a host of pots, pans, cookware, utensils, plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs and glassware.
The dining area features a simple wooden table and chair set that seats four diners comfortably, plus a high chair for little ones if needed.
The lounge area is a beautiful bright space and designed with serious relaxation in mind! There's a large L-shape sofa unit opposite a 40" smart TV and indoor fireplace for cosy movie nights. There's also a lovely upholstered armchair, blinds and thick curtains for both darkening and privacy, carpets underfoot, and boardgames.
The lounge can be opened up on the warmer days through double doors to a decking and balcony area. This lovely space has some outside seats for soaking up the sun, and a storage chest near to the front door of the property.

Towels, linens, and basic cleaning equipment are included in your booking. Thereâs free Wi-Fi throughout Vivian Lodge. Central heating is controlled via a thermostat in the entrance hallway.
For families, there are some board games to utilise in the lounge area for your stay.
One travel cot and high chair are available for babies and toddlers (and for families of 5). The lodge is pet friendly, and there are some great walks for dogs nearby â please add your pet(s) to your booking or contact us if you have any questions.

About the area:
The New Forest almost needs no introduction! This epic, sprawling national park lies to the north and east of the holiday park, just waiting to be explored!
Stunning heathlands, forests, rivers, mudflats and saltmarshes cover an area of 219 square miles, combined of course with quaint and historical villages, and the most amazing English wildlife.
The bustling and popular villages of Brockenhurst and Burley are only a short drive away and both feature an array of pubs, cafés, and shops in a beautiful setting. Even closer is the town of New Milton which has many shopping facilities and supermarkets.
The coastal town of Christchurch is a short drive and a lovely area to explore for its historical sites, shopping, eateries and parks near the waterfront.
West Hampshireâs coastline is also nearby. For shoppers, the charming Georgian town of Lymington is fantastic for its weekly Saturday market and its many high street shops, supermarkets, and boutiques. It makes for an ideal base for many coastal pursuits, including yachting & sailing facilities, ferries to the Isle of Wight, and maritime historical sites.
Youâll find Milford-on-Sea west of Lymington, which is a charming seaside village and the lovely Hordle Cliff shingle beach nearby. You can reach Henry VIIIâs fortress Hurst Castle east of Milford; and west leads to Barton-on-Sea village and beach.
Further along on the coastline at the Hampshire & Dorset border is Highcliffe, with its impressive Grade 1 listed Highcliffe Castle, and with steps down to the beach here leading on west to Avon Beach and Mudeford.
Hengistbury Head nature reserve is accessible on foot or bikes, and makes for a great day out too â if you continue around this headland it leads you to Mudeford Sandspit and its iconic beach huts. Mudeford sandspit can also be accessed via ferry from the Avon Beach Mudeford Car Park.
Heading west along the coastline from Christchurch, takes you first to Southbourne, then the cliffs at Boscombe Beach, and then to the many famous seafronts at Bournemouth. Further west is the upmarket Sandbanks, with its stunning sandy beach. A car ferry from here takes you to Studland â showcasing an incredible wild bay stretching miles to Swanage, providing easy access to the beautiful Isle of Purbeck peninsula and Corfe Castle.
