North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Mid-City wraps around you like a second home - century-old oak canopies lining the route to the streetcar, the distant brass of a second line drifting through the evening air, and a fire pit glowing on your private patio as the night cools down. This three-bedroom home puts you right in the rhythm of New Orleans, four blocks from the streetcar and a 15-minute walk from Caesars Superdome, with Trader Joe's, Lafitte Greenway, and University Medical Center all within easy reach.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Three comfortable bedrooms are furnished for restful nights, sleeping up to six guests across three beds. Room-darkening shades, extra pillows, and blankets help you settle in for a peaceful sleep, while ample clothing storage and hangers give everyone space to unpack and feel at home. Two full bathrooms - each with bathtub, hair dryer, shampoo, Zoologics conditioner, body soap, and hot water - mean mornings run smoothly no matter how many guests are under the roof.
 
Kitchen & dining
The fully stocked kitchen is built for real cooking - a Whirlpool stainless steel gas stove and oven, Whirlpool refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and dishwasher are all on hand, along with cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet. Start your morning with a cup from the Keurig coffee machine, then gather at the dining table for a proper meal together. Whether you're feeding a crowd on festival weekend or keeping it simple on a weeknight, the kitchen has everything you need.
 
Living space
The living room centers around an electric fireplace - a warm place to land after a day out in the city. Stream on the 50-inch HDTV with Netflix and Roku, pull out a board game for the group, or use the dedicated workspace (in a private room with a door) to catch up on anything work-related. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep the home comfortable whatever the weather brings.
 
Outdoor living
Step out to your private patio and settle in around the fire pit - an easy spot to wind down in the evening with a drink and good company. A private entrance keeps your comings and goings straightforward, and the driveway accommodates up to three vehicles. Free street parking and a paid garage nearby offer additional options if you need them.
 
Laundry & essentials
In-unit laundry with a free washer and dryer makes longer stays genuinely easy. The home is stocked with essentials - shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bed linens, towels, toilet paper, cleaning products, and a first aid kit - so you can arrive and settle in without a supply run. A smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire extinguisher are in place for your safety, along with an exterior security camera on the front porch.
 
Location
Mid-City is one of those neighborhoods that rewards you for being in it - close enough to the French Quarter and Superdome for events and game days, but genuinely livable day to day. Trader Joe's is a short walk away, Lafitte Greenway puts cycling and green space right at your door, and the streetcar four blocks out connects you to the rest of the city without needing a car. Self check-in via smart lock means you arrive on your own schedule, with no coordination required.
