The Space:
This suite will transport you into true New Orleans style with its original exposed fireplaces, restored wood floors, pocket doors, finishing with tall ceilings and windows for all the natural light. While this property is classified as a hotel, rest assured that it's no different from any other private home. You'll enjoy your own fully private space, including a kitchen, living area, all the bedrooms and bathrooms, and all of the top tier amenities you'd expect. The only space which is shared between the three units is the courtyard out back. This rental is one of the two units on the 2nd floor of the hotel building, with a separate unit next door and a third unit which occupies the entire 1st floor of the building (both of which are also designed as private homes). If you are interested in renting any of these together for larger groups, please just let us know!

The Neighborhood:
This beautiful property is just steps away from the historic St. Charles Streetcar to take you to the French Quarter, Warehouse District, or Audubon Park & Zoo. Take a walk over to thriving Magazine St. which is full of unique shops, cafes, antiques, and restaurants. Steps away is Coliseum Square Park, where you can enjoy the flowing fountains and lush trees. This park also offers shaded running trails for your exercise needs and Audubon Park offers a much longer course if that peaks your interest. Also conveniently located walking distance to the Central Business District, Smoothie King Center and the Superdome.
Getting Around:
The area is safe to walk around and has many bustling restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. Walk a few blocks towards St. Charles Ave. and you will find the historic streetcar, which can take you anywhere from the French Quarter to Audubon Park. Street parking is easy to find if you bring a rental car.
Uber and Lyft are very easy, convenient, and affordable options to get around without needing a rental car. There is also a New Orleans Blue Bike station every few blocks, allowing you to rent electric-assist bikes at $0.15 / minute to get wherever you'd like to go. Google New Orleans Blue Bikes and click on their map to see all of the exact locations.

MARDI GRAS: The property is only a couple blocks away from St. Charles Avenue where all of the most popular parades of Mardi Gras will roll through. This is one of the most convenient homes you'll ever find to be able to experience the thrill of Mardi Gras like a true local without having to worry about getting around town or finding a bathroom (a common issue people have when they have to travel to get to the parade route).
JAZZ FEST: This property is about a 15 minute drive / 5 miles away / 30 minute bike ride from Jazz Festival (The Fairgrounds), making this a very convenient spot to explore Jazz Fest during the day, but have some peace and quiet at night.
