Experience the energy of New Orleans at The Eleanor, a vacation rental in the heart of downtown — just minutes from Bourbon Street, the French Quarter, Caesars Superdome, and Smoothie King Center. Whether you’re visiting for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a concert, or just to enjoy the city's legendary nightlife, dining, and shopping - our location puts you steps from it all.

The space is great if traveling with family, friends, or any type of group. The space offers 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining table and living room with a queen size sleeper sofa. The bedrooms have king beds. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms two and three share a jack n jill bathroom and bedrooms four and five share another jack n jill bathroom. All three bathrooms have a tub/shower. The living room offers a 65” TV and the bedrooms have a 55" TV. Each unit has a stacked washer and dryer for use during your stay as well.

The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the property. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk. This area is designated as non-smoking.

We have a designated vaping area located on the 9th floor of the building. Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in our units and will set off our state of the art smoke alarm system.

The Eleanor New Orleans vacation rentals are located in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Ave featuring 31 units that are 3-6 bedrooms and range from 1,178-1,959 sq ft. Our arrival process is contactless, but our property manager and/or front desk staff are available 24/7 during your stay.

While our vacation rental does not offer parking, there are two public parking facilities conveniently located directly below the property. Rates are generally $20-30/24 hours (but will increase during special events and festivals). The two parking options are located just below our property. Park First Saratoga Garage #1025 and has a height clearance of 6’4”. The other option, ParkMobile Zone 50408 (surface lot), is also directly behind our building for overflow or oversized vehicles.

Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) – 14.4 miles (approx. 20 minutes without traffic) – There are many Uber/Lyft/Taxi cabs at the airport that are readily available to bring you downtown.

The Eleanor is located on a streetcar line. Use the streetcar to get to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, City Park, Cemeteries and plenty of other areas along the way. We recommend downloading the Le Pass RTA app and getting a Jazzy Pass for getting around the city.

Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $135/stay (max 2 included). We have a designated pet relief area on the 9th floor, and there is also a grassy park located across the street from our units. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning to bring a pet.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for your stay for an additional fee of $300 for a 12pm arrival or $200 for a 2pm arrival. A late departure of 12pm would be an additional fee of $200 (an extra 2 hours). Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage pre- or post-stay, so if you need to guarantee an earlier arrival or departure, we recommend booking the night before or after in order to guarantee anything earlier than the 2pm arrival or later than a 12pm departure.

We only require light cleaning prior to departure – taking out garbage and washing any dirty dishes. All linen is professionally laundered between guests.

Reservations are not confirmed until the Rental Agreement is signed. The Rental Agreement link will be sent to you immediately after booking.

You will have private access to your unit. The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the building and is designated as a non-smoking area. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk.

Property worked out great for us . Only drawback if you have someone sleeping on the pull out couch there are no blinds in that area so they will be woken up with the sunlight .Great location and can easily walk to the grocery store.

Perfect for larger group :)

We had a large group stay with us and the place was so spacious that everyone had their own getaway but also plenty of room to come together. It was in great walking distance to all the popular places and a pleasant santuary at the end of the night. Only negative is it was a little hard to find the door to get into the complex as it was inside the parking garage and not very well advertised but we found it eventually!

Great location and clean apartment

We had a fantastic 3-day stay at Eleanor House. The unit is centrally located, making it very convenient to access the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and Canal Street. The security is excellent, with multiple keycodes required to reach the apartment. As other reviews mentioned, the unit is situated above a parking lot, so random people might enter when you hold the door for others, but they cannot use the elevators without the code, adding an extra layer of security.The apartment itself is newly renovated and in pristine condition. All five bedrooms have king-size beds, which made it very accommodating for sharing. We all had nice, sound nights of sleep. The nights were quiet with only occasional sounds. The towel rule was a bit strict, with one towel per person, so we brought our own, but it wasn't a huge issue.The only things we wished for were a full-length mirror, as we were a group of nine ladies, and small tables in each bedroom to keep our belongings instead of taking things out directly from our suitcases.The host, Shane, was super responsive and accommodating with everything. We truly enjoyed our stay at this apartment.
