Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood thatâs perfected the art of living. âWelcome to Mid-City,â read the signs on the neutral ground. And thatâs truth in advertising. Itâs the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-Cityâs dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a poâ boy shop or two â or 17 â with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldnât want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.
If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!
You will have full access to:

Easy check-in and so much space, we felt right at home!
Trashcans located at the street in front of the property.
Sweat-drenched afternoons, crawfish on the table, and a cold dip in your own private pool - that's a New Orleans summer worth booking. This Mid-City home puts you right in the rhythm of the city, steps from the Canal Streetcar and deep in a neighborhood that feels like the real New Orleans.
Â
Living space
Natural light moves through the home all day, filling the common areas with a warmth that makes it easy to settle in. The layout flows comfortably for groups of up to six, with room to spread out after a long day of eating, walking, and doing it all over again. Ceiling fans and central air conditioning keep things cool no matter how humid it gets outside.
Â
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms offer plush beds dressed in soft linens, with room-darkening shades to block out the morning light when you need to sleep in. Central air conditioning runs throughout, and clothing storage includes both a walk-in closet and additional closet space to keep your group organized across an extended stay.
Â
Kitchen & dining
Cook like you live here. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Frigidaire refrigerator, GE electric stove, GE single oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, a baking sheet, and a toaster are all on hand. Brew a pot with the drip coffee maker - coffee is provided - and bring it out to the dining table before the day starts.
Â
Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. A bathtub is available in addition to the shower, and hot water runs consistently throughout.
Â
Outdoor living
The fully fenced backyard gives your group a private outdoor space to use any time of day. A private above-ground pool is open year-round, 24 hours, with pool toys included - step out at midnight if you want to. A patio or balcony extends your outdoor options, and free street parking makes it easy to come and go on your own schedule.
Â
Entertainment & connectivity
The HDTV is set up and ready to go. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with a door make the home work equally well for a remote worker extending a trip or a family settling in for the week. In-unit washer and dryer, iron, and cleaning products are all available. Families can request a pack 'n play/travel crib or folding high chair ahead of arrival, and babysitter recommendations are available on request.
Â
Neighborhood
The Canal Streetcar stops steps from the front door - from there, the French Quarter, Superdome, and Bourbon Street are a straight shot. City Park is close for mornings when you want green space instead of crowds. Trader Joe's is nearby for stocking up, and local cafés and po'boy shops are within easy walking distance. The Lafitte Greenway runs through the neighborhood for biking or a long stroll. During Mardi Gras, the Endymion parade route passes right outside.
