This picturesque country cottage is the perfect getaway to enjoy all the Willamette Valley has to offer. Sitting just four miles to downtown Newberg, this home is nestled among farmland and pastures with a small creek just behind. The large oak tree out front offers plentiful shade during the warmest month and is a splendid sight with a large front porch, relaxing to a favorite drink or meal.



Inside, you will find a blend of country chic with a focus on comfort and usability. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. There are three comfortable bedrooms equipped with a king bed in one, a queen, and two twins in the others, which help provide for maximum group flexibility depending on each group. In addition to closets, there are dressers available in each bedroom as well.



The living area is cozy and comfortable and comes equipped with a big screen TV with an integrated Roku for all your streaming desires. Please note that you will need your own credentials for the various services you choose to use. Without a doubt, when the weather cooperates, you will enjoy sitting out front on the porch or in back on the Adirondack chairs. There is an enormous lawn area to enjoy throughout the year, though in the summer there is limited watering so the grass will be dormant at times. There are active farms and pastures in most every direction,n so don't be surprised when you see some livestock, wildlife or any number of the other aspects of country life.



While in the area there are so many things to see and do. There are hundreds of vineyards within miles. The Wings and Waves waterpark at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum is always a big hit. There are countless hikes, lakes, and places to explore throughout. Day trips to the coast or downtown Portland are easy and convenient to do as well. It is hard to find a better location to enjoy your stay in the Pacific Northwest

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories.

This country cottage was a perfect place to stay for our wine tasting weekend. It's just outside of Newberg (3 - 5 minute drive), so it's very easy to check out the shops and restaurants in town, but still have plenty of space and privacy on the property. The house included everything we needed, plus they even gave us a bottle of wine to start our weekend off right.

Our stay with wonderful, just as we imagined it would be from the reviews! The home was spotless and ready for us upon arrival. We were traveling with a 4 year old and 2 year old twins and the house was fairly baby-proof which was a huge plus for us. Some cute toys for them to play with were in the front bedroom and lots of room to run around outside. Truly no complaints, which doesn't come often when you're traveling with small kiddos. We can't wait to stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! Asxwe drive in, we were greeted by cows and calves in a pasture behind the house. Fresh flowers, popcorn, a bottle of wine, and chocolates waited for us inside. The house was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, the towels thick and fluffy, the beds comfortable, and decor well done. Our favorite place was the big front porch overlooking the rolling countryside. It is a lovely place to stay.

Truly a Home away from Home!

We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Gaibler Cottage is an absolutely charming property. The house is immaculate with every possible need covered. There is laundry soap, fully stocked kitchen, games, toys, books, baby bath and high chair, shower soap and shampoo, wonderful linens. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the front porch every morning. The Flower gardens were gorgeous. We were unexpectedly welcomed with a bouquet of fresh flowers, a handwritten note and a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed meeting the lovely owners. We will be back! Only suggestion I could make would be a full length mirror. Otherwise-perfection!

Such a cute old home. Very clean and organized. The owner was friendly and even came over to introduce herself. We would definitely considered staying her again in the future. They only thing that could make it even better would be more mirrors and a HOT TUB!
