0/5 â Worst stay of my life.
Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival â dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadnât been properly cleaned in months. This is not âstudent accommodationâ or âserviced livingâ â itâs neglect.
The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier than advertised. Room service came into my room at 9 AM while I was asleep, completely disrupting my rest after several exhausting days.
I was in Newcastle for an important exam, so I didnât have time to chase complaints, but the unprofessionalism and disregard for guests was impossible to ignore. My room had no windows â only ventilation from the oven vent. On my last day, they shut off the electricity without warning, meaning I couldnât even use that vent. The room became unbearably hot, forcing me to leave to the common area just to breathe.
Filthy, damaged, no privacy, no ventilation, rude staff, and basic facilities cut off without warning. This place ruined my stay and nearly derailed my exam preparation. I wouldnât recommend it to my worst enemy â avoid like the plague.
but if youâre looking for an overstimulating prison stay then look no furtherđ
