Dieses ruhige, einstöckige Cottage befindet sich auf einem seltenen Doppelgrundstück über dem Straßenniveau und bietet dieser Nachbarschaft ein außergewöhnliches Maß an Privatsphäre. Es ist eines der wenigen originalen Cottages aus den 1940er Jahren, die noch in Corona del Mar stehen - Ein charmantes Stück Geschichte, das mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten und dem Komfort ausgestattet ist, den man braucht. We went for Thanksgiving and had all the items we needed to make a wonderful dinner. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. Alys was a very welcoming host making us aware of all the home amenities. There was plenty of storage allowing us to unload all our suitcases and hide them away so nothing was visible which made us feel even more at home. The house was the perfect distance from PCH so there was no noise outside but leaving the shops and beach very accessible. Completely enjoyed our afternoons relaxing on her front patio. Overall a fantastic cottage and host.

Perfect Stay

We had a 5-star experience with Alys in Corona Del Mar! It’s a gorgeous property inside and out, and Alys really goes out of her way to make sure her guests are happy. We loved the outdoor spaces, especially the front patio where we could watch the busy hummingbirds. The interior is very high end—we stay at lots of property rentals and it was the best— and has everything you would need. We hope to return to Alys’s beautiful place in the future!

A perfect place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary

We had a wonderfully relaxing time in this charming cottage. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the nearby beaches, as well as Fashion Island and Roger's Gardens. The front garden was full of Monarch butterflies and the lovely pond in the side garden was home to a number of beautiful koi. The owner, Alys, was very helpful and accommodating. We'd love to come again!

The perfect getaway

This is by far our favorite vacation rental we have ever stayed at. The pictures don’t do it justice which says a lot because the pictures are what sold us from the get-go. It is truly a fantastic getaway. Elise is so responsive and kind. We felt like we were staying with a close relative who is so kind and inviting. There are, so many thoughtful amenities that she had for us. The bed is beyond comfortable. We actually were asking her about the linens and bed because we want to duplicate that at our home. If you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed. It is a true haven!

Perfect location!

Beautiful house and location

Alyssa met us for the check in process. She was extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with. The home is exactly as advertised. Quality linens, towels, appliances and furniture. The outdoor seating area was wonderful. Beautiful park close by to walk to. Parking in front of the home was super easy. Just a quick drive down to the beach.

Oasis cabin

This comfortable cottage nestled near Newport was a great stay. The cottage was very clean even by COVID standards. It has a good kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture, and a great jet tub. Perfect for a couple, we sat outside every evening under Elise’s fairy lights. The koi fish were mesmerizing, and while we were there the butterflies bloomed and filled the garden. It is in a good location, walking distance to Whole Foods for meals during social distancing, easy drive to the freeway, and a good walking neighborhood including a park and trail. I would definitely stay here next time we are in the area and recommend it to friends. Elise was great to work with and very conscientious.

Perfect End To Our Honeymoon!

This cottage is truly a gem! We loved everything about it! We stayed 4 nights on the tail end of our honeymoon, and let me say, it was tough to leave!!! The owner was so helpful and easy to work with. She did not miss a thing, when setting up this rental! It is better appointed than a 5 star hotel! The interior is inviting, with really beautiful furniture. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom was a perfect set up! The exterior is like something out of a dream! AMAZING landscaping! Excellent property and management

This property was perfectly suited to our needs and the owner is super friendly, and very willing to make guests feel as comfortable and taken care of as possible. I've rented properties a good number of times from vrbo and airbnb, and this experience was by far the most human experience, in an industry that is growing increasingly unpersonal and business-like. Alys truly cares to do everything possibly to give her guests the best possible experience!

Happiness in Corona Del Mar

Our stay here was one of the best vacations we've ever had. The cottage location is prime; minutes from the beach, freeways, parks, hiking, and shopping (Fashion Island to Trader Joes). The garden and koy pond were icing on the cake. A beautiful variety of plants and butterflies made this a relaxing and peaceful stay. With so much to do in the CDM/Newport Beach area, we actually enjoyed spending time at the cottage. Also, the kitchen appliances and extras made it easy to cook a nice meal. I highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.

Unique Oasis

Over the past three years, we've stayed in many Corona del Mar vacation rentals when visiting family here. This one is incredibly unique because it combines excellent living and sleeping spaces with a gorgeous front patio and a private side garden complete with lush plants and a koi stream. We loved the side garden for morning coffee and for late evening relaxing. The front patio, with chairs and umbrella, was perfect for reading and the occasional nap. Alys is an enthusiastic, very accommodating host who truly wants to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We will return!

Perfect beach getaway cottage

We selected this VRBO rental for its location, value and amenities. My sister and I planned a five-day beach getaway and this charming cottage was ideal for our minimal needs. Its location in CDM is perfect for a quick drive to the beach (we chose to spend our days at Crystal Cove SB ) or walkable to CDM beaches, if you don’t have a lot of gear. Beach chairs and towels are provided. Parking in front of cottage is easy and the neighborhood is peaceful, safe and a pleasant short walk to all stores, shops, restaurants. It is a good base to explore OC. Alys was over the top in accommodating us and we appreciated all she provided for us or would provide for us, if we needed anything. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Cottage is tastefully decorated, kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with goodies upon arrival, heavenly CalKing Tempurpedic bed super comfortable and lots of fluffy, clean white towels and bath amenities provided. Wifi excellent, Direct TV with streaming stations to watch an evening movie. We did not use the pull out sofa for sleeping so cannot comment on that though we would say that this cottage is best suited for two people. What makes this cottage special is all the creative work Alys has put into her nature garden. There is a semiprivate side garden with all types of exotic and tropical plants, a Koi pond and a soothing water feature. It created a serene extension of the cottage. The front of the cottage has a great sitting patio also nicely landscaped. Butterflies everywhere! We would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a quick getaway, like to spend your day at the beach or exploring, prefer not to cook ( great local food shops to pick up prepared meals ) and simply need a peaceful retreat and a great night’s sleep at the end of your day. Excellent value compared to a hotel suite (which was our original plan). We would definitely return.

Serenity, Convenience and Hospitality - All in One Place
