Point Break is a surfer’s (or beach-lover’s) paradise! Sitting right above Agate Beach with direct beach access, this three-story home has all the amenities you are looking for:

Home Description:
Point Break has unbelievable access to Agate Beach, an Oregon Coast favorite. It has sturdy steps with a handrail down to the beach where you can surf, stroll, beach comb, or whale watch. This home has a spacious great room with a gas fireplace and open concept kitchen overlooking the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked, has granite countertops, 2 large kitchen tables and a bar (seating for everyone!), and a 6-burner gas stove. There are also 2 decks, 5 private bedrooms, a crow’s nest, and game room. Two of the 5 bedrooms are on the main floor and three are downstairs.

We stayed at this beautiful home on Agate Beach for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary with 11 family members, ages 2 to 78. The house was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable for all of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed, and the dining room and kitchen table were perfect for family meals together. The deck was gorgeous for enjoying sunsets, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub. The kids especially enjoyed the game room and loft, which kept them entertained for hours.The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach, with easy access to town and the main road. We had a small hiccup figuring out the lock when we arrived, but the host was responsive and quickly helped us resolve it. A couple of minor downsides: the playroom had a bit of a mildew smell, and we were surprised to learn in the manual that shellfish couldn’t be cooked in the house—especially being in the heart of Dungeness crab country! That said, we found a way to make it work.Overall, I’d give this house a solid 9/10. It was a fantastic place for our family celebration, and we’d happily return.

Our family really enjoyed this vacation home on the Oregon coast. The location was perfect, setting above the ocean with gorgeous views and stairs down to the beach. The house was beautiful, open and packed full of everything you could possibly need. There was a deck on both floors with a hot tub on the lower floor. This house was perfect for a large family gathering. We hope to stay again soon.

Family reunion

Beautiful views from the deck. Lots of open space for our family gathering, very clean and well stocked with everything you need.We all really enjoyed our stay. We had 4 couples, 3 had an en-suite bathroom and one had to use one down the hall. There is a list of exit chores but nothing weird.We would definitely stay here again!

Christmas Relaxation

Point Break was the perfect setup for my 2sets of older parents and the younger grandkids, as well as me and my husband and brother/sister. The layout was perfect so that the older folks didn’t have to navigate stairs (aside from getting up to the main level) to get to their bedroom/bath, kitchen, and living areas. Added plus was the garage area for the younger kids to be kids!

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

We were a multi-generational group of 12, including sisters and brother-in-law, celebrating my husband and my 50th wedding anniversary, and we stayed for a week. We had a wonderful time! Agate Beach was just down a long set of steps from the house, and it was beautiful. We had some low tides and there were lots of surfers to watch, too. There was a lot to do – beach walks or runs, fly kites, visit the lighthouse nearby, visit tide pools, etc. or just relax at the house. The house was great for our group. Two grandkids slept in the kids’ room bunk bed and the 2 year old was in a pack and play in his parents spacious bedroom that included a large jacuzzi tub for his bath time! There was another large bedroom next to the kids’ room for their parents. The older folks took the two upstairs bedrooms which were smaller but plenty adequate. The large living area was really nice to hang out in and the kitchen was plenty big enough and very well stocked. There is a nice, narrow deck with chairs to sit in outside. I especially liked that the bathrooms were all stocked with plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, as well as hair dryers. There were plenty of towels for inside use and also plenty of towels for the beach or hot tub.

The Perfect Place

We absolutely love this house. It is so close to the ocean and lighthouse. Each couple had their own space and had plenty of room to be comfortable. The hot tub is a nice, too. We enjoyed our stay.

Great for families. PERFECT location.

We could not have had a better stay. The house and location are absolutely amazing. Great for adults, teens, and kiddos. Ping pong and hot tub are a great addition. The beach access could not have been more perfect. Easy to run up and down for things. Views and kitchen great for family dinners. Host made everything easy and house was well stocked. Will definitely be booking again!

Point Break review

The house had great space escpecially the second level with kitchen and living room area, and it was very clean (which is a big deal) and well stocked with dishes, towels, etc. The biggest disappointment was the view. The trees were so tall that there was bascially just a small area (25%,) where you can see the ocean or the nearby beach. Sit on the deck and watch the ocean...not happening. Trees right in your face. Also, expected a beach where we could go agate hunting. The beaches were pure sand, no rocks, no agates, but if thats what you like, then it was great for just walking. We were ready for some ping pong team duals, but there were only two paddles and not much in the way of games for the kids. :( The driveway was so steep that we were concerned to park on it because didn't want emergency brakes failing and cars going through the garage doors, so parked on the street somewhere and had to walk a bit to get to the house each time we went out. Still had a good time but probably would not stay there again unless those trees were cut way back.

This home is lovely and very well appointed. It has a wonderful large common kitchen, dining, living area that allowed everyone in our large group of 11 to eat and hang out together. It has stunning views of the beach as well as easy access to the beach. It's also walkable to the lighthouse. Hosts are easy to work with. We had a great time and have already booked a return trip!

Very nice house. Perfect for our group of seniors. Could have used one more adult friendly bedroom. Someone had to sleep in the bunk room. Twin beds would have been better. Windows needed cleaning to take in the amazing view.

Beautiful House/Great Location

12 people of 3 generations loved staying here. View of the ocean was lovely. Beach access is just beside the house. Beach itself was quiet, and seemed to go on forever. Yaquina Head Lighthouse was an acceptable hike or short drive from the house also.kitchen was well outfitted so we cooked every nite. Highly recommend.
