Die Villa NiceOrchdia, eine luxuriöse und moderne Villa mit 4 Schlafzimmern, erstreckt sich über 2 Ebenen. Das Obergeschoss verfügt über einen großen, offenen Wohnbereich, der komfortabel und hell ist. Die moderne Küche befindet sich neben dem Wohnbereich und hat einen gemütlichen Essbereich - ideal zum Frühstück. Der zweite Essbereich auf dieser Ebene befindet sich auf der Hauptterrasse neben dem Wohnbereich. Es bietet Blick auf den Poolbereich und einen Bilderrahmen mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Obergeschoss hat auch eines der vier Schlafzimmer. Dieses Doppelzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und eine Klimaanlage. Die untere Ebene hat die 3 anderen Schlafzimmer, die alle Doppelbetten haben. Das Hauptschlafzimmer auf dieser Ebene verfügt über eine Klimaanlage. Die meisten unteren Räume öffnen sich zur unteren Terrasse, die zum Poolbereich führt. Es gibt einen gemütlichen, schattigen Loungebereich mit Blick auf den Pool. Der Überlaufpool ist gekachelt und hat Stufen, die nach unten führen. Es gibt einen Grillplatz / eine Außenküche zum Abendessen neben dem Außentisch am Pool.

Competed in the Ironman World Championship and brought my adult children. The home was as described close enough to the port and Promenade race venue and super market close by! Lise, the owner/property manager was terrific, would stay again without hesitation!

Beautiful villa, great backyard!

Stayed here with friends and used it as a home base to explore the French Riviera. Spent most of the time in the backyard in the pool and having BBQs. Great space and awesome host!

Great place to stay, great location, great hosts

Lise and her partner were wonderful hosts, very welcoming, very accommodating and very informative. The property is lovely and spacious and well stocked. The location was perfect with the port and old Nice in easy walking distance, and the public transport in the area made it easy for us to get to anywhere we were going. Would love to stay here again.

Outstanding property . Everything you could possibly need in the property . Great size inside and out . Very clean . Location short walk into town . Hilly but didn’t bother us as all used to and like walking . So close to transport to explore the coast . Would really recommend this villa . Host Lise was exceptional .

Lovely villa for up to 8 adults.

Beautiful house with everything you need and more. You get good privacy but it is still walking distance from everything. Our family (7 adults) had a lovely week long stay and a dip in the pool after a long hot day was pure luxury.

Fantastic family trip to Nice

We know the area really well, and always enjoy coming back to this part of France. The property was just what we were looking for, and I would definitely recommend to other guests. We are a family with 3 generations and all of us loved it. The pool was heated which I appreciated as we came at the end of August, and our littlest one was always in the pool! We basically lived out by the pool, barbecue and eating outdoors. We also walked into Nice, can walk back but usually used Uber :) Hope to come again, Jean

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your villa . Location is great, in terms of size for our big family , in terms of location : close enough for a walking distance and far enough to relax and enjoy quietly, in terms of space and comfort . We had a fabulous 10 night stay at this property, celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary. The villa is spacious, well kept with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the various sun spots. The photographs available when booking genuinely do not do the property justice - we found that it’s superseded what we had thought it would be.The large pool and beautiful outside spaces are perfect for children and adults alike. Each of the bedrooms are a good size and we found them to be comfortable. The property is a 30 minute walk from Nice Old Town (well worth a visit for the incredible choice of places to eat, markets and great vibes) and roughly the same distance from Nice’s busy but gorgeous pebbly beach. But the icing on the cake for our stay has to be the properties fabulous manager, Lise. From answering our (many!) questions months before our check-in date to so kindly accommodating a slightly earlier check-in, which was a huge help with two children in our group, she helped to make every part of the process a joy from start to finish. Highly recommended as the perfect base to stay in when exploring the wonders of Nice. Thanks so much for having us!

Lovely views and gorgeous house in Mont Boron, Nice

I brought my adult children and friends to Nice so my daughter could participate in the World Championship Half Ironman. The location of the house was perfect because it was not too far from downtown Nice where the race started and finished but far enough away we did not have crowds. The views in all directions were amazing. The location of the lovely home is east so it's very close to many other must see villages on the riviera especially Villefranche sur mer! That was our dinner location many times with gorgeous sunsets. Taking an uber there from the house was easiest. Thank you for your lovely vacation rental home. We enjoyed it. -Alexandra

Family vacation July 2024

We had a fantastic stay in the villa and Lise is a very good, kind and responsive host. The villa is exactly as in the description and the only thing missing is air conditioning in all bedrooms, only 2 bedrooms had AC, although I must say that Lise came with a fan when we asked for it! We didn't rent a car but walked, took Uber and took the train everywhere. We went on quite a few excursions but also spent a lot of time in the villa with dinners and family time on the amazing balcony where you could find shade from the heat. The villa suited our needs perfectly with private bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us (6 adults), amazing pool and outdoor area and well equipped kitchen. We would love to come back and would not hesitate to warmly recommend it!

Really great villa!

We stayed as a family of 6 (2 couples + 1 adult + 1 baby) and had a lovely vacation! Plenty of space, everyone could have their own room and bathroom - a very much appreciated luxury when so many of us needed to get ready at the same time! Lise kindly provided us with a baby crib and high chair, which was super convenient, as renting those is otherwise quite pricey! The view going downtown (approx 15 mins walk) is breathtaking and very instagrammable :) You can easily walk down to the city in 15 mins - or up towards Mont Boron and the natural park there! You can also walk all the way to the start of sentier du littoral Nice in approx 25 mins. To come back to the villa from Nice center, you can easily uber or hop on 2-3 different bus lines stopping 5 mins walk from the villa. The barbecue and pool area were fantastic: we had plenty of sun all day long, when the weather allowed it! We stayed mid June, so the pool was still a liiiittle too cold for the baby: if you want your LO to join on the fun, I would recommend agreeing with the host to heat up the pool prior to your arrival, as it takes up to 2 days to feel the difference. Lise has been a great host who answers really fast - so we would definitely recommend this villa if you are a family / a group of friends needing plenty of space in a quiet area, yet close enough to the center so you don't need to use your budget on renting a car!

The description of the property with Home Away is not a true reflection it is not luxurious.

We choose this holiday rental as the description said it was a luxury Holiday home with air conditioning. The pictures on the website show old pictures such as a comfortable outside eating area reality was a few chairs covered in plastic, some with ripped plastic and some not covered at all. The dining chairs are also close to breaking. The website has now changed to show only two bedrooms having a/c, before hand it said the house had a/c! We booked expecting all rooms having A/C. Some rooms had curtains or half a curtain! One room did not even have the bed made up and no sheets were to be found. We had to wash crockery, cutlery and glasses before using as they were not clean, mainly due to the dishwasher not working correctly. Outside, the pool has quite a few missing tiles, this does not make the pool look luxurious. Five of us were staying there and only four sun beds- the house is for 8, how does that work! I have spoken and emailed Lise, who came with some fans and her own sun bed. We discussed that the website needs to updated with pictures and description. No reviews since August 2016. We were disappointed with our holiday villa but loved the South of France.

Beautiful location

The house is very pleasant, the outside space with the pool and barbecue is awesome, a real little tropical oasis. We spent most of our time there. Plenty of towels too! We were there in July, 80 degree Fahrenheit and while there is AC is 2 bedrooms, the common living space was very hot. The kitchen nook with all windows was a real heater for the kitchen without being able to close it. We had to buy a fan to stay in the living room. There is a system to close all window blinds of a floor at the same time, very practical when leaving the house, but not so much when you want to close the side exposed to the sun and leave another one open. Lots of small things are broken or about to be, which doesn’t impact too much the stay but also doesn’t match the way the house is presented. (Wall sockets coming out or broken, outside curtain rod broken , pool alarm broken and missing battery, bathroom door locks painted on and can’t be locked, outside sliding door can’t be locked, knifes broken, missing AC remote, drying rack broken, one of the 2 barbecue grills is broken too. A few other things I recommend to look after: Shower was clogged, unpleasant smell coming from a toilet, lots of mosquitos which made our relaxing time by the pool, less relaxing, flimsy chairs on the dining table outside, leaking AC makes outside stairs slippery. I would also suggest to add a few things to make the house more welcoming to guests: Fan, oil, vinegar, toilet plunger, pool toys, ice cube trays, CDs and DVDs, a piano bench, board games for kids. Despite everything, the location is exceptional and the pool is fantastic. The hosts responded quickly to the broken shower and we were quite comfortable. It is a great place to enjoy Nice, away from the busy center of the city.

Buona soluzione. Villa con grande potenziale ma con molti difetti: cucina e stoviglie non adeguatamente pulite, parti di mobilio dissestate, cuscinatura divano esterno da rifare, lampade non funzionanti, telecomandi con pile esauste, tapparelle centralizzate per piano (tutte giù o tutte su), 6 sdraio per 8 ospiti, aria condizionata in sole due stanze... manutenzione giardiniere alle 8 AM e della piscina alle 17 PM risultano di disturbo. In generale manca la cura del dettaglio. Bene il supporto e la disponibilità in loco. centralizzate

Très belle propriété

Belle maison, beaucoup d’atouts, climatisation et en particulier la magnifique piscine arborée sans vis à vis. Toutefois quelques défaillances agaçantes au vu du tarif de location: dysfonctionnement du lave vaisselle , pas de produit lessive, plusieurs porte-fenêtres qui ne ferment pas, 3 matelas pneumatique sur 4 troués et fuyards, plusieurs serviettes de bain/ piscine fatiguées, anciennes commandes volets électriques apparentes et cassées, néons méritant remplacement, support seche linge déglingué. En conclusion ce fût un beau séjour, quinaurait pu être parfait en solutionnant les défauts mentionnés!

Great experience

Had a really enjoyable stay - the villa is very spacious and well equipped with a great pool and outside space. Check in and communication with Lise was very smooth. We didn't hire a car and that wasn't an issue though it is quite a steep walk back up from Nice. Do come prepared for the mosquitoes though - the local repellent seems to work a lot better than the stuff we brought from the UK so we were fine after a few days

We had a lovely stay at your spacious house. Plenty of room for 7 people, 3 teenagers & 4 adults. The pool and outdoor area was fantastic :) The area is quiet and nice. Lovely to go jogging at Mont Boron in the morning. About 15-20 min to walk to the bakery/boulangerie. We often walked down to the old city of Nice in the evenings, and had an Uber back home. Bus stops nearby, and also easy to go by train. We can easily recommend others to book your holiday here. When we had a question, we quickly got an answer from Lise.

Fabulous stay

Great villa - great pool . 20 minute walk to old town Nice Carrefour shop 5 minutes away by car for steaks and kebabs for the gas BBQ which is a brilliant one. Secure building with electric blinds . Highly recommend - owners are very nice people and very helpful. Lots to see and do in Nice.

Ontspannen verblijf op toplocatie

Mooie ruime villa voorzien van alle comfort. Aangenaam openlucht zwembad, veel zetels en stoelen voor buiten, BBQ, zeer vriendelijk onthaal door de contactpersoon die steeds ter beschikking stond en al onze vragen beantwoordde. Ook de eigenares kwam langs en gaf ons tips over de streek. Absolute aanrader!!

Quiet villa close to Nice and Villefranche sur mer

We had a wonderful family holiday over 10 days in August. Lise was very helpful to provide extra items like baby chair and cot. The pool was very well maintained and the gentle slope was perfect with little children. Nice city center is only 15 minutes away by car. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great property, perfect location

My kids loved the pool, in it whenever we were at the villa. We booked last minute and still had a heated pool. Did a mix of staying in and sight seeing, practical to get around. Did a mix of walking, buses , we did not hire a car. Everything close enough to not need one. Place was very clean, plenty of room. Quiet area in the middle of Nice. Really recommend this property.

Enjoyed it so much, thinking of coming back

Really enjoyed the property and the area. Chose this property due to it's proximity to Nice and the coast, we walked in every afternoon and our son was studying in Nice, so super convenient. The house worked well for us, on 2 different levels, lots of space. Spoke to Lise regarding a couple of things that she was able to help us out with such as arranging for a chef one night for us. Already looking at dates for this summer. Place really clean, would just comment on the tiles in the pool, some coming off. Look forward to coming back.
