Was not told the washer and dryer did not work contacted owner he said the office was supposed to let me know before we came they did not.was told we could go down to the laundry room to wash and dry but you have to pay . Nice property. Disappointed that the washer and dryer is not hooked up. That was the reason we booked the place. The bunk beds were very unstable. We had to have someone sleep on the couch in fear they would fall apart. The area around the condo was very nice.

Nice place but the roaches


Overall was a nice place. Really enjoyed the location. Had everything we needed. Generally was clean. Had extra beach equipment in the closet. Nice quiet neighborhood. Staff was very nice and pleasant to work with. Only bad was I killed at least one cockroach every day. The condo had a bad odor (almost like wet dog) but we bought air fresheners and that helped. And the master bathroom has very little water pressure.

Amazing Stay

My family and I had the best stay here. It was nice, clean and close by to everything. We loved the deck and being so close to the pool and beach. My boys loved the bunk beads. I really liked that it was a smaller complex as well. We had an Issue with the shower door and maintenance came out in no time to fix it and we appreciated that! Quiet area as well, perfect for families. We will be staying here in the future!

Great ocean view

This place was an older condo, but had some nice updates made to it. It was very clean all except a gnat problem. There were some miscommunication but the property manager finally got someone out to set up traps to kill the infestation. Kid you not, There were probably 50 or 60 gnats. We Could not even eat in the place. Enough said about that. It is located in a great area with lots of shops and places to eat. I am not sure that we would stay again as both beds were very uncomfortable and the one in the smaller room was so noisy. Great place for someone besides me.

Did the job!

Better communication about HOA showing up to do work whiling staying there would be my biggest concern! As we do leave our valuables on the property so it would be nice for them to communicate with the renters and give them time to prepare! Overall the place did exactly everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay here. Cleaning was adequate but the property needs some work (mold/mildew on walls in bathrooms, holes in walls/ceiling, sheet rock seams all splitting). Kitchen was great and well equipped, easy access to Ocean and pool was great. My kids loved the pool/ocean accessories that were available for use. We don’t spend much time in the room so overall it suited our needs and was a great price.

My family and I have been coming to Myrtle Beach from Pa for several years. This was our first time at Ocean Pines 1. Check in was smooth. Under unit parking at the condo was nice. We had to do quite a bit of cleaning when we arrived but that’s not uncommon in my experience. Our only big issue was that our dryer was not working at all. The staff at North Beach Realty did a great job in getting it fixed. Took several days and multiple visits but they offered to launder our clothes and supplied us with fresh towels. Overall a great week and nice unit.

Cozy but somewhat uncomfortable

This little place was cute and great cozy place for my family and I to stay in Myrtle Beach. It doesnt face the beach but has a gorgeous view from the side or the beach. The wonderful evening breeze was awesome. In the morning the sun comes up and is on your face on the balcony to warm you with vitamin D and it felt good every morning drinking my coffee outside planning our day. On a negative note, the floors could have been swept better the couch is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on I'd rather sit on a park bench. The beds not the most comfortable but was fair. There was a maintenance man that beat our door down early one morning trying to get in to spray the wasp on the balcony that he said we complained about but it wasnt us. He sprayed them which was great but shouldn't someone call before he comes we didnt trust him at first and with waking me up the way he did he almost got a bullet in the head. That was the most unprofessional thing the whole trip. The office needs to call before sending anyone to my door. When I rent from you that place is treated like my own and I will defend it and my family very harshly. On a final note ever single place we've ever rented in 28 years we've been together the coffee makers are disgusting and we have to bleach them. Proud to say not this one this coffee maker was clean the kitchen was very clean bathrooms were clean as a whistle. We will be coming back and hoping with fingers crossed we get this place again. Loved the area loved this condo.

Great vacation spot

We loved our location it was near everything we needed, the place was great, me and my family loved it, great view from the balcony, short walk to the beach, and the people that stayed in the same condominiums we’re very friendly and fun to hang out with are we were there,It was so nice we were thinking about buying a place in the future there if we find the right unit in the condominium building. I gave the check-in rating a 3 because when we got there at 2 o’clock everyone was out to lunch till 2:30 PM and check-in‘s were only until 4 PM, I just think somebody should be there at all times but what do I know other than that everything was excellent and I highly recommend ocean pier one Windy Hill dunes!!!!!đŸ˜ŽđŸ‘ŒđŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒ

Cozy, clean and location!

This property is very cozy, you can’t beat the location either. I was pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs there as mine didn’t make the cut into the car. It was also nice to have the option of the pool or the ocean.

Misleading and overpriced

We arrived for check in at 4:00 and our room had not been touched. Our car was loaded and we were tired of being in the car. We had already eaten an early dinner but we needed to get our groceries. They gave us our room key so we could unload while the sent a cleaning crew to clean the room( the crew was one young girl). We got there before she did. Well let me just say the room was disgusting. It reeked of odor and who ever rented it prior to us lived like pigs it looked like. We unloaded our luggage on the balcony and went to get groceries. We were gone a good while and when we returned there was 1 other young girl helping with the cleaning. Glad we had brought cleaning supplies. We finally got checked in to our room about 6:30. The girls that cleaned were not much of cleaners. Half was hurried job. When they left me and my daughter cleaned for 2 hours. Of course in their defense they didn’t have a good choice of cleaning supplies and equipment form what we saw and found out. Me and my daughter cleaned for 2 hours before we even started settling in. The vacuum cleaner had a broken belt so the brush on it didn’t even work you had to sweep the rugs to get the dirt and lint off then vacuum it up off the hard woods. The mop they were using to mop with was not even a decent mop. She had to use rubber bands to hold the mopping cloth on. The young girl did tell us there was a mop in the utility closet for us to use if we decided to redo the mopping which is what we did. We basically redid the cleaning. We wiped down the kitchen with our cleaning supplies and mopped and vacuumed. Our cleaning rags were filthy they were black after we wiped down the kitchen counter tops and stove. We finally got settled in making the best of it. The dryer was useless. It took hours to dry one small load and we ended up with soured laundry. We ended up buying some white vinegar and baking soda to try and get the odor out of the washer and out of our towels. Needless to say we ended up taking our laundry home. We cleaned the dryer vent very well and even used the broke vacuum to suction lint out and used the vacuum to remove the dust and lint off the vents on the door for the air unit. Guarantee you it was cleaner when we left than the way we found it. Pic on website misleading, master bathroom accurate. Overall over priced & to small for 8. We were reimbursed some but would never stay here again after what we went through

Great Condo
