Welcome to Boreal Beach!--our Cayman Northside escape. We sincerely anticipate you will cherish our island's beauty--especially the beautiful, friendly people that call this dreamland home. Imagine you awaken refreshed, as the sun breaks the eastern horizon beckoning a stroll along the seemingly endless, uncrowded white sand beach. Later, explore the Caribbean Sea just steps away from your door--snorkel amongst corals & thousands of tropical fish--all within view of your condo. A 5 minute drive away is Starfish Point where you can experience these amazing creatures up close. Perhaps you are more adventuresome and book a boat leaving from nearby Kaibo Dock heading out to Stingray City to play with these surprisingly gentle fish. As the temperature rises, you may retreat to your private pool where a dip in the cool fresh water sets the stage for a well-deserved nap in the shade. Later, you reconnect with your loved ones as you dine at one of the many fantastic local eateries. If 'Night Life' or shopping are on your agenda, 7-mile Beach, Georgetown or Camana Bay are each only 25 miles away with convenient taxi service if desired. Later, your day ends right where it began as you relax & drift off listening to the Caribbean Sea gently kissing the sand right outside your window. And this is just your first day at Boreal Beach!

The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. We had no problems with check in or contact with property manager. We got lots of good suggestions from the owner especially for snorkeling. Our time on Grand Cayman island was very relaxing in general with lots of interesting things to experience. I especially enjoyed swimming in the salt pool with a view of the sea. Our lanai overlooked the beach and ocean with the sea breezes. A great warm getaway.

Very nice, clean condo with great view

Our family loved the location and amenities of this property. The north side location is away from the "touristy" areas, and that's what we were looking for. We like the beach and good snorkeling, especially if you head up a little closer to Rum Point. The condo itself was very clean. We ate all but two of our meals for the week in the condo. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The views from the lanai are gorgeous, and even though we didn't use the pool, the lounge chairs provided a great place to relax and read a book. The complex is quiet, and it's not uncommon to have the beach to yourself, or share it with two or three other visitors. We enjoyed the bioluminescent bay tour with Cayman Kayaks (only a few minutes up the road by car). Starfish Point is a must see, and we loved exploring and snorkeling at different beaches around the island. After a long day in the sun, it was great to come back to the condo to clean up and relax. Our family of 4 (including two teens) loved the condo, but one thing we wished we had was more seating in the living room. We made do with what we had, and it was fine. All in all, we would not hesitate to come back! It was hard to leave and come back to reality!

Great Place

Perfect place for our family of 4 - and great location if you want to be on the North Shore. Unfortunately, it was very windy, so we were not able to enjoy the reef offshore much, but that is the risk you run on the North Side during Winter. Great Pool and was equipped with everything we needed for our great stay!

Great place and would stay again!

Yes...it's a bit remote BUT minutes from Rum Point, which offers a lovely beachfront. The property mgmt team was AMAZING and responsive to any questions we had - so appreciated! The kitchen is small but well-equipped so meals at home were nice when we didn't want to drive. If you want a place that's not in the hectic 7-Mile area, this is a great retreat!

Peaceful, out of the way.

The property was very clean and well kept. It looked exactly like it is in the pictures. The bathrooms were very nice. The dishwasher and ice machine were a definite bonus. The only downside was the only stairs are out the front; you have to walk all the way around back to get to the pool.

Great Time in the Caymans

My wife and I along with our 18 month old travelled to the Cayman Islands and stayed at Glenn’s condo for 8 days. We really had a great time and want to thank Glenn for sharing his property with us. The condo is very clean. Well appointed kitchen. Great screened in porch. Plenty of hot water for showers with great water pressure. Internet was fast and consistent. Pool was perfect and the kid pool was a great feature for our little baby. I recommend this property for all families. There are a couple restaurants in the area we tried. The caboose was our hidden gem we found. It is about 15 minutes away. The local grocery store about 10 minutes from the condo was nice to have close by.

Lovely Property on North Side

This Condo was located on the North Side of grand Cayman in a quieter part of the island. It does really require a car to get there and around, but that's easy to manage from the airport. Right on the beach with beautiful turquoise water as the back drop to everything. Beach is somewhat rocky with washed up corals, but walk-able for shorter distances. Condo is well equipped and comfortable for two couples.

Perfect Property for Family!

For reference, we traveled from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve, as a family of 5 including three five year olds. Location: On the north shore with snorkeling in the backyard. Close to a mini grocery store and other must stops. The condo complex is small / quiet and people around are quite welcoming. Being away from Georgetown for us was nice, away from the cruise ship crowds and tourist traps. Kitchen: Fully stocked with more than enough dish-ware, silverware, pots, and pans, and cups. There’s a coffee pot, toaster, and blender. Bathrooms: Both bathrooms are spacious with wonderful showerheads. No concerns here! Bedrooms: The bedrooms are also spacious with more than enough room for storage, and darkening shades so you aren’t woken too early by the sun. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Pros: By far the biggest perk of this condo was the responsiveness of the owner. We never had an issues, but from booking through the questions we had before arriving, he was super quick to respond and very helpful to us Cayman Island newbies. Location: Yes, you are away from Seven Mile Beach, but it is quiet on the north side. Plenty close to Rum Point / Starfish Point. This is absolutely a pro to be off the beaten path. Plus, beaches on the north and east end are super accessible. Pool: The pool is clean and was never busy. Super close to the ocean with lots of lounge chairs. The condo itself is spacious, clean, and has everything needed. It’s not cluttered and does not contain knickknacks or other breakables. Cons: None!
