Tasting Room at Belclare

The Tasting Room at Belclare is a private retreat set on nearly five acres of vineyard at the northern tip of the Leelanau Peninsula, a contemporary space with its own bedroom, full bath, and kitchenette, surrounded by rows of grapevines and open sky.

Inside, a contemporary sitting room sets the mood, with a full wall of windows that opens to the adjoining courtyard. The couch folds down to additional sleeping space as well to accommodate groups of up to 4 guest. In the open floor plan is a soapstone-topped kitchenette and a wet bar for easy mornings and evening pours. Kitchenette includes a fridge, toaster oven, electric cooktop burner, and all the necessary pots, pan, plates, and utensils to make a meal.

Upstairs is a full loft with a queen bed, wardrobe, and seating to enjoy a quiet moment. The home is complete with a full bathroom on the main floor with a beautiful tile and glass shower.

Outside, there's a patio with a gas grill, a hammock, and a fenced yard for pet-friendly stays. Fast Spectrum internet and air conditioning keep things comfortable, and at night, the dark skies here make for some of the best stargazing in northern Michigan.

Northport's beaches, marina, restaurants, and shops are just minutes away, and M-22 is a short drive if you want to explore further down the peninsula.

Guests may access the tasting room and all outdoor spaces including the deck attached to the main house. The basement of the tasting room is also open but empty currently. The garage on the tasting room is locked for owner storage of vineyard equipment.

Guests may not access the main house for any reason without permission from the host. Accessing the main house will result in a $500 fine in order to have the whole home cleaned and additional fines up to the cost of the whole home stay if the home is used as rental by guests.

Check-in and out are all contactless but the hosts are available for any questions.

Please call between the hours of 11 pm and 7 am for emergencies. Messages on the app will be answered during waking hours.

Northport is only accessible by car so please plan to drive. You can bike around the area once you're here including into Northport or up to the Leelanau State Park.
