THINGS TO KNOW
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Overall we had a great time! The floor in our condo was very dirty, we had to buy a mop and bucket to clean it when we arrived. The shower in the guest room did not drain well at all. The dishwasher didn’t work properly and all kinds of little things were broken or just needed to be replaced and haven’t been yet. Couldn’t read the marks on the stove for cooking. Utensils were not that great either!

The condo was very nice. Very large compared to other three bedroom condos. The view is amazing. Great location. Two complaints but me just being super picky is the masters mattress is firm and uncomfortable. And the blinds were broken in most rooms. Would definitely stay there again.

Great view and price but no Vacasa again

For our group, the unit was great. Oceanfront views from most windows, pools and game room, good kitchen. The price was reasonable but the fees were actually significantly more than the advertised price upon booking. Then when we arrived, it was another $90 in parking fees. Just advertise it up front. No one likes surprises like that. The worst part is Vacasa. The check-in is at a different location and they don't know anything about parking or pool hours etc. Then you get there and the building people don't know anything about how to check out. You reach out to VRBO and they refer you to Vacasa who make you download an app and sign up for marketing emails you have no choice to unsubscribe from. Then when we call about toilet paper or pool hours, we get transferred to people who are clearly in another country who don't have any information about our specific unit. VRBO is fine when you have a human host but this was a bunch of runaround with too many apps and phone numbers and disorganized rules about parking and fees etc.

Women’s Retreat

My cousin’s and I decided to take a few days to escape the hustle and bustle that had become our lives. This was a perfect place to kick our feet up and do nothing more than listen to the waves roll in. The balcony is only big enough for a 2 chairs but you can see the ocean from every window. The condo was very spacious and the building offered a lot of amenities. The location was quiet but close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. We will definitely be returning next year.

Excellent location, worn property

The view was beautiful from all rooms, proximity to ocean great, kitchen very well appointed. Carpet and pictures need replaced, as well as the pull up bed mattress. Ouch!

Upon arrival the dishwasher was full. We had to empty it The kitchen table and kitchen counter were sticky. We had to wipe them down along with the front of a couple kitchen cabinets. Slat blinds in master bedroom were broke “open”. Had to request someone to come replace chain so they would close. Took a couple times asking to get someone to come. Carpet in hallway stained - was disgusting. Carpet traffic areas were filthy. Rooms dusty. Candy and water bottles under bed. Just overall needs a good cleaning. Not sure why we paid a cleaning fee? Condo not clean. Requesting refund for cleaning fee.

Great location

Nice place! It was awesome staying ocean front. Two minor complaints. The bedrooms were super bright in the morning so our kids woke up really early every day and were tired and difficult. The lighting at night is pretty bad.

Great location, Could be cleaner

I have stayed at OC, MD countless times, but this was my first time renting at the Quay or booking with Vacasa. The location of this condo was great - right on the beach! It's located near 110th St, which makes it a bit of a hike from the boardwalk, but with two small kids, I didn't mind being removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The space inside the condo is fantastic. With two parents, two grandparents, and two kiddos, we were all able to enjoy the common areas, but bedrooms were situated nicely so that everyone could get good naps when needed. The Quay has indoor and outdoor pools and a game room. We spent many hours in the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and game room left something to be desired, but the kids loved them both so no complaints there. My biggest concern with the condo was the dirtiness upon check-in. As other reviewers stated, the cabinets were dirty with crumbs everywhere. The fridge and the freezer were filthy. There were old, moldy teabags in the kitchen. There was a pile of sand in the bathroom and in each drawer of the dresser! The toilet was disgusting - although there was toilet bowel cleaner inside, it certainly had not seen a toilet brush for several weeks/months. The sink and shower in the master bathroom drained so slowly that by the end of your shower, you were standing in your own dirty bathwater. And the dust!! It was on EVERYTHING! Vacasa texted me to inquire about the cleanliness of the condo, to which I responded unfavorably. I sent pictures, like they asked, but we ended up just cleaning the condo ourselves before unpacking. It wasn't the best welcome. Also upon check-in, we learned from the Quay staff that there would be a planned power outage in the building from 10p-6a on day 2 of our stay. The Quay gave us a copy of the letter sent to Vacasa so that Vacasa could inform renters, however, they never did. We know the power outage couldn't have been helped, but if Vacasa would have given us appropriate warning, we would've at least been prepared with flashlights. We met other folks who were also vacationing in the building, but they rented from Long & Foster, the real estate company located in the Quay. Their experience was much different - their condo was clean and ready for them. And they were given advanced notice of the planned power outage. As a result, if we choose to stay at the Quay again next year, we will rent from Long & Foster, not Vacasa.

Vacasa is the worst management company to work with

Upon arrival the property was filthy. Nothing had been cleaned. There was crusted food inside and out of the fridge. Crumbs on all surfaces. Dirty bathrooms and so on. Our groceries couldn’t be put away until we cleaned the fridge and freezer as well as counter tops. I attempted to reach the management company and they would only text me even after begging for someone to call. They asked that I send pictures of proof that the home was dirty. I spent the first three hours of my vacation texting and sending pictures of the unit until they sent subcontracted person to come snd clean our three bedroom condo. The condo was dated but not totally bad. Master bedroom mattress was very lumpy and thin but other bedrooms were good. Front desk people for the unit were not the friendliest either. Being our first trip to ocean city, I would definitely visit the area again but would not use this unit and definitely would not book anything that is managed by vacasa

Very nice condo!

This condo served us very well—6 adults and 3 children. The configuration of the space/bedrooms/beds was great, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Our view from the 16th floor was beautiful, and being so close to the beach was a real plus! We also enjoyed the outdoor pool. — We did have a couple of housekeeping issues. When we arrived, the kitchen countertop and floor were sticky. The clean linens were still in bags sitting outside the door. I called Vacasa and was told that the cleaning crews were running behind and that someone would be there by 8:00pm. No one came, so we cleaned the kitchen and I made up the 5 beds. There was also NO toilet paper or paper towels! Luckily I had brought some. I thought I had read that there would be a “starter” supply of those items? Also, sitting outside our door was a bag of dirty linens from the previous tenants. After a couple of texts/phone calls to Vacasa throughout the week, I finally found a direct phone number for the linen service company and called them on Thursday and left a message and finally reached a person on Friday and the linens were picked up! Despite the cleaning issues, I would probably rent this unit again.
