Thunder Island Condo - Beautiful 2 BR 2 BA Next to Convention Center

Purchased in late 2021, the owners have done an excellent job remodeling this beautiful 2 BR 2 BA unit with Bay views. There are freshly painted walls along with high-end laminate flooring throughout; the color tones are reminiscent of a high-end hotel. There are new furnishings in the living room, dining area and both bedrooms. In 2024, the owner added a new king bed in the main bedroom. The kitchen has updated cabinetry along with stainless steel appliances and is ready to make the cost saving meals at home. The owners even added a beverage fridge to keep give you extra room in the refrigerator and to make sure your beverages are cold. There is a washer/dryer in the unit along with Wi-Fi.
The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is a wonderful way to cool off on those warm summer days. Attention boat, car and bike enthusiasts! Thunder Island offers boat slip rental and parking spots for your boat trailer between May 1st and November 1st. This is also one of the few communities that welcomes your enclosed trailer during car/ bike events. Last, but not least are those relaxing bay views that will be waiting for you at the end of your fun filled day!

Thunder Island is located directly next door to the convention center and should be your first choice when attending an event there. You will be a short walk to the beach (about 2 1/2 blocks), Convention center (1/2 block) Seacrets (about 9 blocks) and the north end of the boardwalk which is about twelve streets away. The great mid-town location makes it easy to get to all that Ocean City has to offer!

* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends.
* This unit includes bed linens, towel sets, hotel quality bathmats and kitchen hand towels.
* This condo is on the 4th floor. Thunder Island is an elevator building.
* Two uncovered parking spots are provided.
* The outdoor pool is open between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend
(We cannot control when any amenity closes due to an emergency or for standard maintenance.)
* Boat slip rental and trailer spots on the parking lot available on a first come/ first served basis. Application must be submitted to Thunder Island Mgmt. office ahead of stay. Boat slip fee is $100 per stay and Trailer spot is $100 per stay.
* Easy access to the beach.
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 39th street.
* EV Charging stations, accessible for all car models, in an adjacent lot to Thunder Island lots.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
