Part of a three-story building on the ocean block, this top-floor condo opens onto a sizable common deck with views that reach the ocean and the bay. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped living space with every modern convenience - central air conditioning, ceiling fans to circulate the cool air, and a private washer/dryer. There's a bright living room, a well-appointed kitchen with a four-person breakfast bar, and flatscreen TVs in both the living room and the bedroom.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

I never had communication with the actual owner just Vacasa. I was informed that there was a numbered space for me to use, but there was no numbered spot. When I communicated to Vacasa via chat and call they kept mentioning to park in the number spot and asked if we were in the correct place. Told them numerous times there was no numbered spot. Luckily the area was not busy and there was plenty of street parking. Place was dirty especially the fans. A few kitchen drawers were not aligned properly. Anytime the toilet flushed there was a loud ringing noise which we mentioned on the call, but no one ever came to check on it. Besides the parking spot, the most annoying thing was the smart lock. There were no issues entering the code to get in. However, locking the door was HORRIBLE. The lock wouldn’t engage even though we could hear the lock switching.

Perfect location for our Anniversary, Ocean’s Calling, and time on the beach. Neighbor’s were friendly and helpful. Condo was comfortable!

This served its purpose in that it gave us easy access to the beach, but the PROs end there. The 4pm check-in is kind of annoying, but we managed. It's irritating that check-out is 10am with such a late check-in time. But what REALLY bothered us was: vague parking and trash disposal instructions (seemed outdated or just not relevant to this Vacasa location?); appliances that don't work (we reported that the dishwasher flooded the kitchen); poor communication (we called the phone numbers provided to receive the same information we had in front of us with no further details or help regarding where to park or where to dispose of garbage, since we were expected to do so); very little cookware in the unit; pretty poor level of cleanliness upon check-in; tools and hardware stored UNDER THE BED (be careful if little kids are staying with you!); odor from water heater (it's IN the bedroom); the shower head is NOT SECURED, so if you try to pivot it, the pipe in the wall MOVES; not much in the way of towels; the bedroom TV practically doesn't work at all, and neither TV will allow you to share what's on your phone screen since they're somewhat dated devices (although this didn't ruin our stay, I thought it was worth mentioning). You're expected to wash the dishes and take out the trash on check-out, so keep in mind why my review sounds whiney. The condo itself is a bit of a dump, but it's for sale right now so I guess Vacasa won't be putting any money into it.

Generally a nice condo to rent, 1 block off the beach. There was no dryer in the unit. Some stains on the mattress. Trash needs better instructions, like the dumpster is hidden in the back parking lot. Mattress was soft, you will hit the box spring quick. Keurig smelled bad, haf black stuff in the overflow tube.

Wonderful ocean side apartment

This apartment was wonderful! Clean, spacious and short walk away from the beach access. Bath towels and sheets for the king bed were provided along with a few laundry and washer machine tablets. The kitchen had everything you would have needed to make some light meals, although we did not wind up using it. Yes, it's a three flight of stairs walk up, no elevator, but we knew that and it wasn't an issue. Wonderful place! We'll be back!

Property nice but not as respresented

This is a well-maintained and nicely furnished property. The kitchen appliances are new and the furniture is great quality and well-kept. I had 3 major issues with the property, however. (1) The property is listed as having a washer and dryer. It does NOT have a washer. The rental company told me it had "just broken" before my stay and that they would get back to me with a solution (e.g. a credit to my account) and they did not contact me again after I told them this in the office. I called back mid-week and they again said they would get back to me but never did. Also, the owner of the 2 units next to me let me know that my unit had been without a washer for at least the past month, because he had a family member stay there in June and he had no washer either. So the owner represented this on VRBO as having a washer but it definitely did not have one when I booked the property at the end of June. The washer is a huge issue for me as I didn't bring anywhere near enough clothes for the week and was washing everything out by hand and hanging it out to dry. Very annoying. (2) NO Blankets at all in the unit. I had to buy a blanket for my teenager who slept on the pull out. Vasca (the rental company) told me twice (in person when I went to the office) and when I finally got through to someone on the phone (which took many tries) that they would be bringing over a blanket, but they never did. (3) There are only 4 plates and 2 bowls in the kitchen. It's very strange because the appliances are really nice and there's a keurig and a high-quality toaster and blender, but then there's almost no dishes in the cupboards. Don't plan on doing to much eating in your unit unless you bring your own bowls (recommend bringing a big bowl or containers). The other thing that was not an issue for us per say but may be a safety issue for others is that the metal grab bar in the shower is broken and was balanced precariously in the holes. If anyone is older and grabs that to get in or out of the shower, they will definitely fall, so keep that in mind. Also, would recommend bringing your own towels. The towels provided by the rental company were brand new and had never been laundered and they had so much lint on them, you will be covered head to toe (including your hair!) in white lint. I had to take these to a laundromat in order to use them.
