Boathouse - 5 Bedroom Canal House w. Private Pool and Putting Green

Come enjoy all that Island living has to offer in our newly renovated 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home located on a concrete canal at Ocean Isle Beach. The home boasts amazing views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The private dock provides easy access for boating and fishing. A rare find on Ocean Isle Beach, the home has a private concrete swimming pool with an outdoor living space and gazebo area. The backyard includes an artificial turf putting green designed by Celebrity Greens, for those that enjoy a little extra sport during their vacation. Included in the rental is kayaks, and bicycles for exploring the island. We are located on second street, just one block from the Raeford Street public beach access. The Master Suite includes a King Bed. Three of the other bedrooms have a queen bed. The loft area is designed for all of the first mates in your party. Located on the second floor, the loft includes 3 full size bunk beds and a built in single bunk, a 65 inch TV and gaming system.

The house was perfect size for 10 guests. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, while still feeling cozy and relaxing. There are plenty of activities at the house to keep the kids and adults entertained. The favorites were putt-putt, the pool with a basketball goal, the ping pong table and the bikes. While the included golf cart ended up needing some repairs, the host Crystal and Brian were very prompt and responsive to any needs while had while staying there. We also loved that linens were included and we could dock our boat at the house. We loved this property and would love to go back!

Great location on Ocean Isle - a few issues that need to be repaired or resolved

Overall, this place is in a wonderful location and is well-stocked with everything you need. Check-in was smooth and communication was good initially. We did have problems with the a/c and ice makers all week. Despite attempting to fix them, they were not repaired, which did affect the overall quality of our stay. We had to buy several fans because several days the house was 79 degrees and very uncomfortable. We did enjoy the kayaks, pool, putting green, and dock; however many of the other amenities need to be updated. For example, the golf cart’s registration was expired and it was extremely slow. Many of the bicycles needed tires or were missing chains. This truly is a great location and a beautiful home, but it definitely needs updates to align with the price point.

Fun, comfortable property in a wonderful location

We loved our stay at this property. It had so much to keep our group of teens entertained. And when they wanted to explore a little, the house’s location gave them easy access to the beach, park, and shops.The backyard was our favorite place to hang out. There was ample seating and places to hang out and relax. The pool with volleyball and baseball nets was so fun and we loved the putting green and kayaks.The beds were comfortable and the house was well-stocked. I have already recommended this property to friends. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect family vacation!

This was our family's first visit to Ocean Isle Beach & we picked the perfect house for our stay! There were 11 of us--8 adults & 3 kids, so the 5 bedrooms & multiple bathrooms worked great for us. The kitchen/living room space was just right for meals & hanging out. We loved the backyard with the pool, putting green, & dock on the canal. The beach was very convenient--just a short walk or golf cart ride. By the way, the golf cart really came in handy & was a great thing to have! For us, the house with all of its amenities, as well as the whole Ocean Isle Beach area made for a perfect family vacation!

The Boathouse is perfect for a large family! Beach access is quite easy. We found ourselves enjoying the backyard pool and canal access as much as the beach. The owners have provided so many extras like kayaks, ping pong, swimming pool, putting green and more.

Family and friends.

Everyone in our party thought the property was perfect. It was big enough, plenty of bathrooms and the outdoor shower was great. The pool and putting green was great. A couple of days we just stayed at the house and pool instead of carrying everything to the beach. We meet Glen when we first got there and he couldn't have been kinder. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
