Perfection!

Mid April stay. We shared the beach for three gloriously sunny days with no one but dogs and their owners walking the shore. Winter swimming was amazing. Great beach, safe, flat, wide. Three things of note: the stairs are very steep/ high so anyone with knee or hip issues might have a hard time getting up the two flights. The sleeper couch is old and tired and needs replacing. My back did not allow me to sit on it as there is absolutely no support and the cushions were sagged through. We were there before bug season, but I hope the screens are repaired before it kicks in as there are large gaps that would not keep the bugs out!We loved our stay though. It is absolute perfection if you crave shoreline/views/open water! Clean and sparkling new and shiny as well! We have already reserved for next year!

Great Get Away

The view and location are amazing. The house was very comfortable for the three adults on our trip. It’s also very suitable for a family with kids as one of the rooms has two bunk bed sets. It’s comfortable, cozy, and completely relaxing. Within walking distance of the pier and entertainment. Great place to stay.

Great Beach Girls Weekend Getaway

Great oceanfront location for a relaxing girls getaway. We enjoyed walking the beach and collecting shells. Great location to start from to see other cities in the area. Best part was watching the sunrise in the morning from the balcony.

Neat beach home!

This beach home was clean and beautiful, it had everything we needed and was in a great location. We loved that it was right on the ocean, which meant amazing sun rises and easy access to walks on the beach. We were there in October, so there wasn’t much going on in Old Orchard beach, but that was okay with us! It was a quiet cozy town when we were there. There were plenty of other places to visit in the surrounding area!

Great place with amazing views.

My wife and I spent a couple nights here in the fall, and loved every second of it. It's obviously right on the beach, so the views are perfect. The surrounding town is really nice, and it's just a ~20 minute drive from Portland. The condo itself is clean and spacious. It was just my wife and me, but there was a bunkbed room that could have held 4 kids. Check-in/checkout was super easy. Highly recommend this place!

Stay was fine. Location good. Quite for this time of here expected. Toilet first floor bath spewed water all over floor as hose in tank was not hooked up. I put hose back on but someone needs to double check. Darker curtain shades would be nice more choices for tv would be nice as well.

Family Summer Vacation

We had the best time. So close to the beach, entertainment, restaurants, etc. Never had to use our vehicle once we arrived. The place was emaciate, and with 4 children, the washer and dryer came in so handy. Everything was within walking distance.

my week at OOB

I was really delighted when I stepped out onto the balcony and saw the beach. My children and grandchildren were also excited. I'm past the stage of body surfing and sitting in the hot sun, but it was fun to watch the next generation take full advantage of the area. We were treated to fire-works on Thursday evening and the kids could go to the beach for an unobstructed view. They could walk to the Pier and ride on all the Tilt -a- Whirls to their heart's content. The last night there we were treated to a view of an amazing moon shining on the ocean. Just a beautiful way to end the vacation.

This property was beautiful. We stayed during a heat wave and air conditioning would have made sleeping better but there were some fans that kept us cool. Everything was clean although there needed to be repairs to the rails in both the bathrooms and the couch smelled like sweaty feet. Nothing we couldn’t get past but just some observations. There was a lot of furniture on the patio but it was ok. Four tall seats, and tall table and a couch. The couch was very comfortable and it was nice having that on the deck. It was hard getting around the seats but I would rather them there than not have anything plus they were tall enough that you could see the water over the railing. Perfect location right on the beach. There was a private walkway and we were on the side of the beach that was considered private and not as busy as the other side of the pier. Five minute walk from palace playland and all the good restaurants. It was the perfect distance from all the craziness. Our two children are 4 and 6 and walking was easy for them. Overall we would book again but some of the things in the condo need an update or remodeling. But overall great stay!

Beautiful getaway

You can't get any closer to the beach than this! Beautiful condo, just what we wanted for a quick late winter getaway. Very close to the main strip of Old Orchard/ Palace Playland, so would be a great summer stay also.

Amazing view

This place was clean and comfortable. The view was great and the amenities were fine. Plenty of towels and linens, and the washer/dryer are helpful. Just be aware of the garage situation, it is extra tight, intact, folding in your mirrors is needed. You can not park on the street overnight so take that i to consideration. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others

The condo was in a great location but was not super clean (some dusting and heat units in the bathrooms were not clean. It was just after tourist season is winding down so not a lot to do in OOB but Portland is still very busy with little parking or most parking is expensive. Beautiful areas though.

Great Expectations

After many VRBO rental experiences this one was very disappointing. I’ve never rented from VRBO where the host was a property management company; will know to look for this in the future. I’m providing feedback to Vacasa as well. Here are my issues: 1) it was not clear in the rental description that this condo building is neither heated or A/C 2) it was not made known to any of us renting in this building that it was being repainted (scraping, priming, paint) and that this would be daily from early in the morning until after 5:30 pm. 3) lightbulbs burned out in lamps throughout the condo. Dead batteries in TV remote. 4) closets/under kitchen sink were filthy and junk 5) fan in primary bedroom was filthy; didn’t even want to use and did not. 6) kitchen poorly equipped. Sheet pans dirty/crusted with food 7) outside porch overcrowded with too much furniture. Table and chairs too big for size of porch. I don’t know the last time anyone from Vacasa or the owner made a deep assessment of this unit but it’s overdue. I will say that Vacasa was very prompt in delivering a toaster to our unit and replacing the dead batteries in the electronic keypad a couple of days into our stay. We did find the original toaster by the way about halfway thru our stay….. on top of the dryer in the stacked laundry closet. We didn’t think to look there!
