Fully embrace the Scandinavian hygge cozy lifestyle in this crisp and clean 1br/1 bathroom condo! The modern and clean condo has a great open layout with everything you will need for a cozy stay. Situated in a stunning setting nature enthusiasts will love the surroundings of this condo with trees all around, impressive mountain views, and a river to stroll by just outside the condo's building.

When you arrive at the building you will find the condo located on the 3rd floor providing great views from the lookout balcony. A bench with a shoe rack conveniently sits outside the condo's front door so you can unload your outdoor gear before settling into the home. When you walk inside you will first come to a hallway where you will find the kitchen to your left and a full bathroom to your right. The modern and sleek kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal with stainless steel appliances, a full range of cookware, and ample cabinet space. Connected to the kitchen is the dining area where you will find a table with seating for four. The kitchen/dining room is connected to the living room making it comfortable to stay connected with your group whether you are preparing a meal or snack, or relaxing on the sofa.

In the living room relax on the 3-person couch or lounge chair while enjoying the views over the trees out the sliding glass doors. For those traveling with small children, they will be thrilled to find 2 chairs their own size in the room! Enjoy a relaxing evening in this room as you take in the views and watch a movie on the 46” TV. Or, turn this space into an additional sleeping area and utilize the comfortable pull-out queen bed in the couch. From the living room, you can step out to the balcony where you can take in the views and fresh mountain air.

When you are ready to tuck in for the night head into the bright and cozy bedroom where you will find a large window bringing in ample natural light. Get a good night's rest on the queen-size bed, or enjoy some bedtime reading thanks to the lamps sitting atop matching nightstands on either side of the bed. For any remote work needs utilize the desk tucked underneath the large window in the room, you will love taking work breaks to take in the views! The bedroom also features a ceiling fan great for keeping cool on warm summer nights. Down the hallway from the bedroom, you will find the full bathroom. This modern and bright bathroom boasts a floating single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo with lovely marble tile walls.

Guests will have access to the entire condo and one parking place.

* Winter Snow Removal *
When there are > 4 inch snow fall overnight during the winter time, at ~7am in the morning, the guests may need to temporarily move their vehicles from the parking lot to nearby streets to allow snow removal in the parking lot. This is a requirement from HOA and a standard practice in the area.

The location of this condo places you near all the action in the Olympic Valley area! Just a half-mile away from the charming European-style village at Palisades Tahoe, you can easily walk to the main village where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and seasonal festivals. You are within walking distance, or a quick 3-minute drive to the slopes at Palisades ski resort. Or, make the 15-minute drive over to Alpine Meadows for some of the best ski runs in the area.

During the summer months enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path located 12 minutes from the home. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee just 15 minutes away. Or head into Tahoe City is less than a 15-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. With its easy access to ski resorts, bike paths, and beaches, this condo is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.

* The Neighborhood: Getting Around *

Within walking distance to the slopes, shops, and eateries you can enjoy many of the wonderful things this area has to offer without having to get into the car! A public transportation (TART) stop is a 5-minute walk away where you will find a TART stop at Plump Jack-Squaw Valley Inn. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short bus ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 20-minute drive to Truckee and a 15-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter time enjoy being only 3 minutes from the Palisades Tahoe ski resort and less than 15 minutes from Alpine Meadows.
