The price that VRBO advertised and what we were charged was different by about 117. Everything that went wrong, did go wrong. First, they gave us the wrong door code when we arrived, so we couldn't get in. The staging dishes were dirty and the coffee mugs still have coffee stains in them. We had to wash all the dishes before we could use them. The pool/spa wasn't heated due to cold weather, but the neighboring houses all had heated pools. The pool was also low and maintenance came and refilled it with a garden hose. I did not see them rebalance the PH levels in the pool or spa, so needless to say, we couldn't use the pool the whole week. We kept getting told it only heats up to 20 degrees higher than the temp outside and it didn't even do that. The heater was not running the whole time and neighboring pools were. Why was the level of the pool so low?? The patio table had a broken coffee table, the pool table was not leveled and could not be fixed by putting anything under the feet of the pool table. The kitchen did not have simple amenities. It was missing oven mitts, there was a flat top, but no plug to be able to use it. There were no sheet pans so you couldn't use the oven. The plugs in the upstairs bathrooms didn't work. I had to talk to the host so many times that it was an unpleasant experience and I don't plan to rent from them again.
