Great stay

Condo is in a great location to shopping and restaurants. The parking is convenient, the pool area is just underneath the unit, and the beach was open and relaxing over a holiday weekend. The location of the unit on the 2nd floor, right next to the stairs is outstanding as it lets you out right next to the pool and beach access. We will definitely be back!

Simply amazing

This beautiful condo exceeded our expectations. While we were not there most of the day, having a nice, calm, relaxing place to return to was perfect after a long hot day. The view of the ocean was perfect and the bed was comfortable!! The room has all of the amenities you could need and is in a nice neighborhood. The owners were super responsive and kind as well! Will definitely be back!

This is an older property that is very convenient and well maintained for its age. The owner was easy to communicate with and the documentation associated with our stay was excellent. The beach area for this property is beautiful with very few people. The pool was clean and it was nice to visit after a hot day in the waves. Everything is convenient to this property. Lots of good restaurants, gas stations, gyms, and supermarkets. Great view of the sunrise from a well placed 2nd floor balcony. Condo is well decorated and comfortable.

Stayed inside as little as possible

We stayed at this location a year ago for Jeep Beach, and had a nice stay. So good, that we booked it again this year. However, upon arriving, the place reeked of bleach. At first, we thought it was because they did a good job cleaning. After a day and a half or so we realized it was to mask the smell of mold throughout the condo. We had to constantly open the doors to air the place out. One of us is allergic to mold, and was dealing with headaches whenever we were in the condo. We did not complain to VRBO or the owner, simply because we knew there were no other options. If you are allergic to mold, or just don’t like the smell of mold, stay away. Also, the code to get into the building is shown incorrectly on the check-in page, just as it was last year. The numbers need to be entered first, and then the special character. The check-in page has it wrong, and since we didn’t remember the order to key in from last year, we had to wait for a resident to open the door for us.

The access to unit was easy. The kitchen was well appointed. We did not feel we could go barefoot due to carpets badly stained & felt dirty. We swept hard wood floor many times, no help. We think it is cleaned with a dirty mop. 2nd bedroom beds are awful & MB bed is passable. Windows in MB leak and gap at window cell needs attention, Bucket for leak under kitchen disposal, Mildrew in MB at front wall and partial front ceiling. 1 of 2 Electric sockets in MB bath is dangerous and cannot be used. Gray residue around the lower socket and short circuits if attempted to use. Sliding glass door fogged up during bad weather and needs adjustment. Very hard to open and close. Could not get 2nd BR TV to function and complicated LR TV. Called Spectrum & it took over hour to figure out how to get programs we wanted to watch. Ocean view is spectacular. Building was very secure and nice heated pool and deck. Much work needs to be done in this condo. My husband is afraid mold could be building up in MB due to so much moisture coming through windows. Used a squeegee on MB windows and sliding door during rainy and windy times to see out of them. On a whole, loved the building and the area. It is nice of owners to give guests a garage door opener to drive into building.. We really appreciated it. Hope all gets fixed and a good thorough cleaning would really help. Sorry to write all of this but condo would be great if all of the above is corrected.

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful week at Ormond Beach. The location is fantastic. We could have spent the entire week on the balcony watching the waves, or walking the beach. The condo is very nice. Just right for 2-6 people. Great restaurants and stores close by. Easy parking, with a parking garage to keep your car out of the salt spray. Great elevator. Definitely intend to stay there again.

loved the balcony-great view

We had a terrific vacation and would come again. The balcony & view were wonderful. The ocean was steps away and easily accessible. Often we had the pool to ourselves, and when we didn't...the people were lovely. We had a minor glitch when we arrived, but the owner was fast to respond and it was all resolved quickly. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was nice, but it was not the same as the pictures. They have a new sectional and a recliner in the living room. The home was well stocked with everything you needed.
