The loft apartment was the perfect size and was built and designed incredibly well. Jim and Diane were great hosts who greeted us and welcomed us onto their beautiful property. Jim and Diane have built a lovely home and garden. The woodwork is phenomenal. Jim gave us a great rec for dinner. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Paradise in the Mountains

Even though my spouse and I stayed for just a night, Jim and Diane were wonderful hosts with a lovely room. And not to mention where they’re natives to the area they have the best recommendations (if y’all read this the coffee shop outside of Tallulah Gorge is Tallulah 1882!) hopefully we can make it back and spend more quality time in Otto

Gorgeous place and wonderful hosts!

We absolutely loved the loft! Such a quiet and peaceful place, with everything we needed for a wonderful stay (including a great collection of books to read, and one of the best-stocked small kitchens that we've seen). The gardens are beautiful (even in late December, when we stayed), and the loft was so cozy. We felt so welcomed by Jim and Diane, who were so kind and communicated with us so clearly about how to get to the house. They made sure we had everything we needed. We would love to come back and stay another time. This would be a perfect place for couples or singles who want a quiet and beautiful place to enjoy the mountains! -Katie and Dave

I can’t begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay, what a unique property peaceful, beautiful, affordable and close enough to downtown areas. The owners were accommodating to say the least to say the most two of the friendliest people ever helpful but not intrusive to say we would stay there again is a huge understatement I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to unplug from worry and commune with the gorgeous surroundings this place has to offer

Peaceful & Relaxing

Jim and Diane are hostess with the “mostest”. The setting is very unique having a garden setting with a small Koi pond & larger creek fed pond next to it. There is a beautiful patio for a relaxing or a picnic meal. The loft is very comfortable with a warm eclectic style. It has a European feel. Really enjoyed my stay.

Peaceful, quiet, and comfortable

I was a couple hours away on a family weekend trip and wanted to stay one more night on my route back home. When I saw the pics of this place, I had to come check it out. The grounds are gorgeous with water features including a pretty pond with lily pads, several small waterfalls, and beautiful flowers. Great for someone like me who loves photography! And the lodging space is very comfy too. It was very clean. Nicely designed. Jim and Diane are very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Quiet Place in the Woods

Wonderful property, hosts were more than helpful. Quiet property and a tranquil place to check out. My wife and I are more the type to ramble rudderless over the countryside when we get away and this was an exceptional base of operation for us. However-if you are the type who enjoys being grounded and experiencing the outdoors, surrounded by an almost pristine, well-kept, garden-like environment, all while having amenities close at hand, this place is perfect. Thanks to Jim and Diane for being such wonderful hosts!

Delightful.

This was one of the nicest rental we’ve ever stayed in. We were greeted by the owners Diane and Jim. The unit was very well appointed and comfortable. The owners added so many nice touches. And the garden area, with koi pond, creek, and seats along the larger pond was very relaxing. The unit was very comfortable. And access from US-441 was easy. We would recommend this place for any couple looking for a getaway.
