6/10 – Okay

We rented the Pink Paloma in Palm Springs for a week beginning March 16, returning for a second year because we very much enjoyed our first stay. The home still delivers on style—a classic mid-century Palm Springs property with colorful décor and iconic imagery (Marilyn, JFK, Audrey Hepburn, etc.) that gives it real charm and personality. That said, compared to last year, the home shows signs of wear from frequent use. It feels less like a property at peak condition and more like one ready for a refresh.During our stay:Grill still lacked a working igniterMicrowave replaced by a basic countertop unitBed frame failed first night in one bedroomSame bathroom had clogged shower and no lightOne A/C unit failed during 100 degree heat (last 3 days)Outdoor chair had loose hardwareNone of these alone is a major issue, but together they suggest maintenance has not kept pace.Bottom line: Great design and atmosphere, but some deferred upkeep. With attention to basics, this could easily return to a standout rental.
