Wonderful place

This place is absolutely perfect it smelled so good when we walked in everything was perfectly clean and beautiful its loaded with every single thing you need while you are there was 12 of us infant -65 and we all had a space alot of closets enough room for all you cant hear the neighbors thd pool and hot tub were great the walk right across the road to the beach was great no traffic i could go on and on this is one perfect place to be!

Needs some work

Check in was easy. Upon arrival our family is not sure what was cleaned besides fresh linens. Biggest complaint was the master bathroom clearly has a known leak as the family room ceiling in ruined. Didn’t think much of it until morning two when it was leaking on our iPad in the family room. So the couple staying in the master bedroom could not use the shower with the room. Also after arriving and unpacking discover the pull out couch downstairs is broken so we had to purchase an air mattress. Pretty sure the couches in the living room probably have broken pull outs too, but didn’t try them. The one recliner is broken and maintenance told us just needs replaced. The place needs a deep cleaning. The pool was not heated, but it was warmer temperatures so that could be why. The location was perfect directly across from the beach access.The beds were comfy. There was enough room for all. Biggest disappointment was the rental company who owns this never even called to apologize for the leak and not being able to use the shower or a bed. This is our family’s 9th year renting and never experienced that before. They did send a maintenance man out 2 days after they said they would and he had no answers but thanked us.

Great for Large Group

We had a great stay- perfect location, house was great for a big group (however lots of steps may be hard with anyone with mobility issues), steps away from the beach. Wasn’t as clean as expected and showed some wear, but this didn’t negatively affect our stay. Only complaints are the property manager was not easy to access or responsive to the few questions we had, and the bunk room is much smaller than it appears (with no fan, so it got stuffy real quick). But overall, we had a great time and would rent again!

Property Manager asked if $300 would keep us from writing a bad review.

Several amenities not working on arrival day. Agree w/ other reviews (search "lowest ratings"), mgmt is NOT helpful. 1. AC corrected evening of arrival by outside company. 2. TV/Internet not working. Called 2x/d to help line. After 4 nights, advised to contact property manager directly. His email "if you have TV, you have internet". Then asked Bob to call us. His responses: a. You didn't communicate your problem correctly. We said, "We don't have any internet". b. It was the answering service's fault c. Perhaps the "owner didn't pay their bill" d. You can just use your phones as a "Hot spot" e. Everyone should have "unlimited" phone plans. f. "You got this place at a low price." An off season price shouldn’t mean lower quality. g. You can leave & be refunded. h. "I'm done talking to you", the "owners are done too". Apparently, he told them we wanted money back or we would leave a bad review. WE DID NOT SAY THAT. Bob offered US money, we declined. Asked him to fi f. Repair not complete. Husband figured it out as we packed. 3.The 2nd floor balcony had mult vertical slats unattached. Looked down to see my 3yo's body half way onto the roof. What a scare!!! Repaired. 4. Agree w other reviews, home not as clean as expected. Grease on inside/outside micro doors, sandy floors, stairwell debris, dust covered blinds/walls/fixtures. Interesting that mgmt asks future renters to disregard all prior low reviews, calls them rude. No one is ruder than the property manager.

Florida Beach Stay

We had a fabulous time. The house was a great size for us. We loved the swimming pool out back and having the ocean across the street was great also. The beds were pretty comfortable
 we did not use all of the hideaways, but we were a little surprised to open the one in the Master Bedroom on the third floor and find chips and other food items in the bed. We made sure to take off those sheets and leave them to be washed for the next person. There was also a cigarette butt on the floor in the first floor bedroom. It kind of looked like a joint, but I am not 100% positive. There was also a big bleach stain on the bedspread in the first floor bedroom
 it didn’t hurt us, but for as much as we paid for the house, we would have appreciated it being replaced. The bikes that were provided were always pretty beat up. The view from the balcony on the second floor was fabulous . The windows on that end of the house.. made everything seem spacious and the ocean was great to see. All in all it was a good place to stay and we would go back.

A very nice community and an awesome rental. It is apparent the owner is committed to ensuring guests of every age have a memorable experience. Scheduling and the check-in/check-out process were great. I was informed about everything I needed to know in advance of my stay. Looking forward to the time when we can do it all over again!

Multi Generation Stay - Room for the Whole Family

This is a great property for a large family group. The ice machine in the basement is an awesome bonus. The garage is full of beach gear (chairs, floats, sand toys, bikes). The short walk to the beach is very convenient. The location is great. Just something to be aware of - this house has A LOT of steps. This was fine for all the younger people, but it was a lot of steps for my parents who are senior citizens. The lower floor has one bedroom, bathroom, and washer/dryer. Then the kitchen, one bathroom, and the bunk room are on the next floor. Then three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the third floor. No matter which room my parents used, they still had to climb steps to get to the kitchen and main living area. Also, there are no doors or gates on the stairways, so if you have small children in your group, this could be a major safety issue. Some of the spindles on the balcony off the living room are loose and can slide over to the point that a small child could get through. We notice things like this because my husband is an insurance agent, so he's always seeing liability risks that others probably wouldn't even notice. This property is perfect for young/middle-aged adults though. The pool was very warm and well-maintained. There's a nice outdoor shower by the pool and a hose for washing feet at the front entrance. The coded entry is way better than having keys with a large group where everyone is constantly coming and going at different times. Great stay!

Beware of cleanliness and lack of communication

Location and house were fine with exception of needing upgrades on carpet upstairs and kitchen tools. The cleanliness of house was terrible and the property management is poor at communicating and not resolving issues. We would rent again if they had better cleaning service and host.

Steps from the beach with lots of space and perks

This is a great property in a wonderful location. We were there mid-April and there was hardly anyone else in the neighborhood so it felt like our private beach. Great grocery stores and restaurants very close by to get anything you need, and only a few miles away from everything PCB and 30A have to offer. The property was very clean, with a well stocked kitchen which our family used every day. I only noted that there was not any microwavable flatware. The main living area is fantastic, with plenty of seating for dining and relaxing for our party of ten. Couches and chairs were super comfy, and the huge, brand new TV was a big hit. All the beds were also super comfy, and we loved that they're mostly king beds, as we were only traveling with one child. The basement room is basically a separate apartment if anyone in your party needs their own space. Just bring a sleep mask if the light from the ice machine is the sort of thing to trouble your sleep. We had a couple of minor quibbles, mainly that some of the blinds are broken and need to be replaced, and the hot tub could use servicing. But overall, a fantastic place to stay at a great price. Highly recommended.

Perfect location!

We loved this home and the location! We had three families and everyone had their own space plus enough extra room for the kids to share. Note that the pull out couches are really only for kids - wouldn’t be comphy for an adult. Linens are in the closets and ottomans (we struggled to find them at first!) Directly across from beach access for a 30 second walk to the beach..and Sunnyside is away from the hustle and bustle of both Destin and PCB, but close enough if you enjoy tourist attractions. Some really cute local restaurants nearby, especially Thomas’s and Sunnyside. Super quick drive to Camp St. Helens State Park, and grocery stores. Lots of chairs are beach toys and bikes although a couple need some repairs. Ice maker and garage fridge were an awesome bonus! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay!!

Beautiful unit with an amazing view

Our family stayed here and really enjoyed the unit and location. Unfortunately the pool wasn't heated like listed, and the hot tub wasn't working, but it didn't ruin our trip! We still had a good time staying here, and would book again in the future!

Beautiful Beach Home

My family group of 14 enjoyed this house for a week. The location is perfect- easy beach access and very low traffic area. This house is beautifully decorated! We appreciated the comfortable seating spaces in the living room and enough dining chairs to accommodate everyone. We would rent this property again! Thanks for letting us stay here! The only things to mention that could be future updates would be to add a second washer/dryer on the top floor where the 4 bedrooms are. Washing towels and clothes for a large group kept the lower level washer/dryer constantly running. The bunk room also gets very warm, so make sure you make use of the box fan in the closet. There’s not an air vent in that space and it gets hot from using the outside porch door frequently.

Perfect for large family vacation

Very beautiful home and Perfect for our Large family vacation. Great location and beach was not crowded which was very nice and just a short walk from the house. Would stay here again in a heart beat !! ❀
