Florida's warm and humid climate creates a breeding ground for many animals and pest insects: lizards, geckos, ants, palmetto bugs, mosquitoes, and more and occasionally some insects may fly in when a front door or balcony doors are open just like a fly would seeking water or shelter. Although annoying, they provide food for other insects and animals.
