Steps to Beach - 2 MBR-2.5 Bath, Sleeps 6, Gulf Highlands Beach Resort Townhome

We would love for you to come and stay at our family beach townhome. When you are here you are "On Beach Time." Having fun, making memories, and finding some time to relax is what you are here for. Our townhome boasts 2 King size beds, Twin with a Twin trundle, and a Queen sleeper sofa in total for your sleeping arrangements. When you arrive you will find two free parking spaces right in front of the townhome. This makes it easy to unload all of your things and there are no crowded elevators to deal with. Our townhome is very spacious with 1,436 sq. ft to roam and boasts a beachy vibe. As you enter you will find a beautiful fully equipped kitchen for making lots of great meals with all stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, and quartz countertops. Keurig Coffeemaker to get you up and going in the morning and a Ninja Blender for making those beach frozen cocktails. There is seating for 4 at the kitchen countertop as well as beautiful wooden dining table for 6. If you are traveling with a little one you will find a highchair in the MBR closet. For extra fridge space you will find a mini fridge on the back side of the bar for the '5:00 Somewhere' cocktails. Off of the kitchen there is a half bath that will fit your needs, a great convenience to have one close by on the main level. As you move into the living area you will find an additional bar area with plenty of wine/drink glasses, a cozy sectional that includes a queen size sleeper sofa with console table, and a large Smart TV with internet to stream your favorite shows. There are a variety of board games and playing cards for you to utilize and enjoy.
As you walk up one flight of stairs you will find a full size washer and dryer in the hallway to wash any clothing or towels during your stay. There is an iron and full size ironing board in the master closet. As you continue on down the hall way you will find one of two master bedrooms with Ensuite. Very spacious with plenty of storage and a King Bed to rest your head after a long day at the beach. A little ode to Margaritaville and Jimmy Buffett you will find. The bath adjoined to this room has been beautifully updated and includes a hairdryer for your convenience. This bedroom has also been furnished with a ceiling fan and a large Smart TV to add to your comfort.
Also on the second floor you will find the main Master Bedroom that also includes an Ensuite and King Bed. This room continues the beach vibe with more of a turtle theme. It is so airy and bright with so much space that includes a large walk in closet, plenty of drawers for extra storage and a twin daybed with trundle underneath. If you have an infant, we also have a pack and play in the master closet for your convenience. (One less thing that you have to pack) The bath adjoined to this bedroom has also been recently updated and beautiful and includes a hairdryer for your convenience. A Smart TV, ceiling fan, and additional seating can be found when walking out onto your private deck to add to your rest and relaxation. From the MBR deck you have a great view of the Island pool.
Now for the outdoor experience, from the downstairs living area, you can walk out onto the tiled patio where you will find comfy patio furniture for your relaxation. There is a storage area where you will find beach chairs, umbrella, beach/pool toys, and a beach wagon to help with hauling those beach essentials. PLEASE PACK YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS! There is also a grilling area for making those hamburgers or cooking your fresh seafood. From the patio you are steps away from the largest pool on the resort, so splash away your day. A playground is not far away either for your little ones to burn off a little extra energy.
Now to discuss the amenities of the Gulf Highlands Beach Resort. First of all, it is a gated resort for your security. There is so much to offer and all is free for guests to use. There are 11 pools in total (5 heated) with the largest being right out out the back door. There are also pickleball, tennis, and shuffleboard courts for you to enjoy as well as a miniature golf course. There are pickleball paddles with balls, and tennis rackets with balls for your convenience. The latest addition to amenities at the resort is the Beach House. A bar and grill has been added for your enjoyment that includes a beautiful pool and restrooms that are ocean front. This is also a great place to grab lunch, a refreshing cocktail or dinner.
Panama City Beach has a lot to offer, not only are you on the Emerald Coast where some of the most beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico can be found but there are so many other activities for your family to enjoy. Shell Island, St. Andrews State Park, Rock'It Lanes (Bowling, Roller Skating, Arcade, Sports Bar), Wonder Works, Shipwreck Island Waterpark, Pier Park (Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Ferris Wheel), Duplin Winery, Gulf World Marine Park, Zoo World Zoological Park, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, as well as several miniature golf courses and Go Kart Tracks that are all just a short drive from our townhome. For those travel ball parents here to cheer on your favorite ball player, the Publix Sports Park is a short 4 mile drive.
You will find plenty of great places to eat. Pineapple Willy's which is famous to Panama City Beach is 1 mile away. Some of our favorites are the Wicked Wheel, Sharky's Beachfront Restaurant, Runaway Island, and Parlor Donuts is a must. Don't forget that Gulf Highlands Beach House is steps away for your dining needs as well.
