Lots of renovations going on but it didn’t stop our good time! Loved having a heated pool, hot tub and beach access. Security for the pool was a little heavy especially when kids were innocently playing. Security was however lacking in the indoor hot tub. Kids were going crazy and in and out the entire time we were there. Would have prefered indoor hot tub be adults only. Loved having a diner on property to eat at! Room was very nice. Wish there were more towels and maybe beach chairs. Everything was conveniently placed and we had plenty of room for 5! Elevators had some issues with stopping on every floor on one trip and none the next. Very friendly environment with other guests! Would love to come back once renovations are done!

Love the view and the easy parking also the pool area is so pretty. A few things need to be added like bowls with lids and oven mitts. The size of the room was perfect for us. The bed is very tough to sleep on mattress is beyond hard.

We had a great time. The room was nice. The bed wasnt the best. The condo had a little bit of an odor when we arrived. But overall we enjoyed our stay. First time going in September and i would definitely recommend it. Less crowded and not many children.

My friend and her family live The Summit. So, finding this place for Labor Day Weekend was a blessing. Only a couple issues when we arrived, but they were almost immediately addressed! The process for the stay and checkin was well explained! My room was even ready early! I would definitely use again!

Our vacation

The property is in a perfect location, pool and beach access were great. The kitchen isn't fully equipped, if i hadn't brought my instant pot we would have struggled to make meals. The dishes in the cupboards had food crusted on them. We opted to buy all paper products for the trip to avoid using the dishes.

Good place for 2 people.

Great location and no real issues. The place is perfect for 2 people, but smaller than it looks especially the kitchen. Very bare minimum cooking supplies. The TV in the bedroom didn’t work. We had no issues with bugs or cleanliness. The location is perfect. 2 large pools, tiki bar, and small restaurant next to pool. very easy beach access.

PCB Summit

We've stayed at the Summit every year for over 20 years and have stayed in other condo rooms. This room wasn't horrible but definitely could use a little TLC. The carpet in the bedroom needs to be torn out. It is filthy. And the dressers are falling apart and the rod above the bed is falling off the wall. The TV doesn't get a signal most of the time unfortunately.

We strongly suspect Book that condo was dishonest about the unit having a water leak and mold. We were switched to a different unit at the last moment. We were so dissatisfied we checked out two days early. We will never use there service again.

Lovely Views, but not too clean

The condo we stayed in 1012 had lovely views from the living room and balcony. The condo had the necessities to make our stay comfortable, but the condo really needs an overhaul. The couch was uncomfortable, the furniture really needs a deep cleaning, as does the rest of the condo. If I was cooking any meals , I would have said it was lacking the needed tools. No salt or pepper even. The dresser drawers fall out of the slots, it just really needs an overhaul. The elevator situation was terrible :( But the pools and the Tiki bar were great!!

My review

It was not very clean. The dryer was broke the entire time of our stay. I called patty the manager 2.. The first time she said she thought the owner had put a new one in and I informed her it wasn't new. So she sent someone out who cleaned the vent (that we already cleaned bc my husband works on them for a living) and she said he placed the belt back on that it was off (if it was off it wouldn't have been turning) I called again and she said she would speak to the owner to see how they could accommodate us and she would have someone there this am at which there was nobody to show up and I haven't heard from nobody. Of course check out was at 10am this morning so it's no longer an issue for them. As far as the pools and beach they were great!

We loved our room and the beach was beautiful! Everything was very clean and the place was right on the beach as described. We loved having a washer and dryer in the room and the views from the balcony were beautiful! There are some things to note though such as the elevator is extremely slow. We knew this going in from other comments but didn't realize just how slow it really is. Plus they break down a lot. My husband is disabled and we were on the 10th floor so there was no way we could've just used the stairs. Also a lot of people smoke cigarettes by the pool around kids and families so even though most rooms are non smoking you still have to smell cigarette smoke both by the pool and at the beach as people do it there too. Last thing to note is that the bunk beds do not have rails. It is shown in the picture so I don't know how I missed it but this did make it a little concerning for our 4 year old to sleep on the top bunk. She ended up with us anyway but still might be a nice addition to add some rails to the top bunk. Overall we really did have a great time!

My husband and I stayed in Brian’s condo for a week in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. I always look to see if the property that I am gonna rent has a washer and dryer as this is a must for me and his condo did. I read some of the other reviews about the dryer not working so great and my husband looked at it and said that the lint filter needs to be replaced because there is no filter left. Very cheap to fix. The air conditioner worked great as well as everything else. Yes the Summit is an older complex but for the money and the fact that it is right on the beach, you can’t beat it. The only other problem I encountered and it was not me personally but the security people would not allow floats in the pool. I think this was because some busybody complained about it. I guess they had nothing else to do. The security card told a woman that was staying at the complex that floats had to be a certain size meaning a pool ring for kids as I understood the conversation. Maybe that is something that condo owners should address with management because people do like their floats in the pool. Anyhow I love the summit and definitely look forward to going back. Maybe the condo owners could give previous renters a discount as an incentive to rent again. I always look for the best deal possible and Brian definitely did his best to help me out. Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to PCB for many years, and this was the worst condo that we have EVER rented. The grout in the tile shower was full of mildew. The ceiling fan blades were dirty. Everything was dirty. The decor was terrible. It looked like we were back in the 80's. The microwave stopped working, and we had to figure it out and it was the breaker. The dryer would not dry. I tried doing 3 towels and 3 washcloths and dried them through 6 cycles and they were still damp. We had to use our beach towels. Just a terrible situation. We will NOT be back.!!!!!!!!!!! I would be ashamed to rent this place. The curtains were hanging off sliding door, there was damage hanging above the door, stippling coming off the ceiling, the couch was hard and dirty. The mattress was awful (hard) uncomfortable. The door going into the living area was barely hanging on. 2 of the 3 hinges were unattached. We have stayed at The Summit before and are disappointed in this unit 1012. After the fact, I have read other reviews about this unit saying the same thing. Nothing has been changed. I will be adding my review to theirs. I feel people should be warned. I wish I saw the reviews prior. I would NEVER have booked this one. Thanks
