Get away from it all and explore your own slice of the Ohio wilderness at this 1-bathroom 1 bedroom custom rustic cabin. This Patriot vacation rental is very secluded and is the perfect retreat for hiking, fishing, hunting, and relaxing in nature. Bring a boat and hit the water at Timber Ridge Lake or Raccoon Creek, fire up the gas grill to cook dinner, then head inside to warm up by the wood-burning stove. End the night unwinding on the porch watching deer and wildlife or stargazing by the fire pit. If you long for peace and quiet and disconnect from the fast pace life then here you go!

We truly enjoyed our stay and got the rest and relaxation we were looking for. We would stay here again. We were a little bummed for the cleaning fee considering the shower looked used (hair/bodily hair) on the shower walls and dirt on the shower floor. We also had a hard time fitting our food in the fridge. The shelves were dirty and had a half gallon of used milk, cherry tart juice, a dozen eggs, opened, half used coffee creamer. We ended up living out our cooler that we had brought as we didn't plan to leave the cabin all weekend. Truly we had a decent time, just a little bummed.

Incredibly secluded & peaceful.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It's secluded and you will likely not have cell service when you get there - so it may be helpful to screenshot some instructions and directions before you get there! It's very safe and secure, and there are acres upon acres for you to enjoy and explore. I can't wait to come back and spend some more time here very soon!

Best secluded place I have ever been!

We had an amazing time staying here! It was so secluded—we didn’t see or hear another soul for miles. We spotted so many deer, squirrels, birds, rabbits, and even some curious trash pandas (raccoons) snacking under the bird feeder at night! The deer were completely unafraid of us—we even had a doe and two fawns walk right past us outside the cabin.The trails were absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed walking them every evening. The cabin itself was small, cozy, and quaint, and the girls loved the loft!Craig, you have an incredible place—thank you so much for letting us stay!

Rest, recoup, and writing

I was looking for a place to completely unplugged from the world, and this was it! The property was beautiful, the kitchen was just perfect, so I could do some hands-on cooking which I thoroughly love, I could take beautiful nature walks, the furniture was comfortable, the water was perfect, I had absolutely everything I needed. And the host was gracious. I will absolutely be back.

Relaxing getaway

This cabin was very clean and cozy. It’s very secluded and the views from anywhere on the property are beautiful and we saw several deer roaming. We have a large family and this was just what we needed to get away to relax and unwind. We have stayed at different cabins and found this cabin to be at the top of the list as somewhere we would consider staying at again in the future. The only thing I would change is to have a key to the door handle located somewhere outside because it would be very easy to lock yourself out.

PEACE! SECLUSION! BEAUTY! DEER!

Wow! This cabin was so homey and adorable. The wood throughout was so beautiful. We woke up (slept on the pull out downstairs) by a deer looking in the window. We walked the acres of woods and rolling hills. We saw a huge herd of deer grazing. It was the most secluded cabin we've ever managed to find. The cabin was so clean, everything imaginable provided. The host was responsive and everything was just perfect. We will be back!

Beautiful and secluded stay!

Cabin was lovely and clean. Cozy! The ladder into the loft bedroom is definitely not for the faint of heart - would not recommend this cabin to anyone with mobility issues. Very quiet, firepit and wood on site were awesome. Lovely stars and moon viewing. Saw plenty of deer, foxes, neat birds including an owl. Leaves were so beautiful this time of year. Kitchen was lovely for cooking a meal. Road into the cabin is gravel - I have a small sedan and we made it work. THERE IS NO SERVICE OUT HERE! Don't do what I did - save down the gate and door codes before you arrive. We had to go back to town to get service to grab the codes. Silly me! One issue was that the bathroom had a weird smell - I think something is up with the septic. Would recommend the owners check this out. Also, no cutting board on site that we could find. Otherwise, kitchen was well-stocked with things I think folks had left behind. Also a selection of DVDs and board games. We had a lot of fun exploring the property and heading into Point Pleasant to check out the mothman. Would stay here again! Thank you, Fullers!

Peaceful weekend

This was our second visit to the cabin. I love how peaceful it is to just sit on the porch and read a book. A perfect place to relax. Both times the cabin has been immaculately clean. We're hoping to book another visit for the spring
