Our sweet, charming home has two bedrooms, queen size beds in both, there is also a futon couch in one of the bedrooms, TV's in both rooms and a 65" tv in the living room. Nightstands with charging stations and lamp. Nice comfy couch with chase in living room and cozy glider rock chair with foot stool. The kitchen table is also arranged cozily in the living room. Also, some boardgames/card games are available.
There is 1 bathroom with tub shower combo. There is also a washer and dryer which are located in a separate laundry room. The bathroom will be stocked with towels.
Kitchen has basic amenities.
Plates, bowls, cups, utensils. Pots and pans. Some spices are available.
There is a Refrigerator, stove, microwave, bagel toaster, Keurig coffee maker.
As an added amenity we will have coffee pods and creamer. (Only supplied for 3-4 day stays)
Our home is in a great neighborhood with quiet peaceful neighbors. Full disclosure, one neighbor raises rare and exotic birds, the backyard has sounds of a beautiful rain forest! It's quite peaceful if you ask me.
We are centrally located to many amenities, which include a grocery store, a gas station, many fast-food places, locally owned and chains.
Our property is 1 mile away from the entrance of a scenic byway which is a beautiful drive. There are many biking trails located up this canyon, which include Forebay, Bennie Creek, Jones Ranch, Black Hawk. Visit www.Trailforks.com for more detailed area trail information. If you have further biking needs, there is a wonderful locally owned bike shop downtown. (Ride N Bikes 801-465-8881) There are also a few parks located up the canyon, where you can have cook outs, hike and play Frisbee golf. Also, lakes for fishing and other activities. (about 8-9 miles) There is also a closer public lake in Springlake 3.6 miles away which is great for fishing, walking, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming. There is also a fish hatchery.
The I-15 freeway entrance is 1 mile away. Walmart is 2.7 miles and there many fast-food places which include, Chubbys Cafe, Taco Bell, Costa Vida, Cafe Rio, Popeyes, Don Chuey's, Crumble cookie, KFC, Menchies frozen yogurt, Sip N Spot, Fat Jacks Pizza (The best pizza), and many others.
The LDS Temple is 2.7 miles away. There is a nice 18-hole golf course (Gladstan) only 4.5 miles away nestled within the mountains, it is so beautiful!
We have a historic downtown, with small shops and activities. Many Hallmark and Lifetime type movies have been filmed here. There is also a local historic museum with different exhibits all the time, 1 block away. (Peteetneet Museum). We have a big beautiful city park, (Memorial Park) with nice basketball courts, very nice pickleball courts, and a shaded playland for kids, just a few blocks away.
Sundance Resort is 45 mins. Salt Lake City is 50 min away. Park City is 59 miles away.
