Spacious lodge style hotel, with good amenities including a pool. Conveniently located a 10 minutes walk from Penrith. Just off the M6, yet very quiet.

Staff were not interested in response to any of their own questions - why ask? No water in a 4 star hotel room is poor - an empty glass bottle needing filled is not ideal at one in the morning?? Food decidedly average and over priced - £18.50 for s tasteless chicken breast and chips then £4 for a few vegetables? Not acceptable

This places look nothing rom the outside, but takes your brath away on the inside. I just wish I had been in the gym on the first day as it was AMAZING!!! The most amazing equiptment, beautifully fit out. We also had a spa treatment on the Sunday which way lush. My husband is now a convert to spa treatments.
