The good: the house is very spacious and the a/c works well. It was a great location for our needs, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We could use the garage to park our vehicle and the pool was heated as advertised (for an additional fee). Check in was easy and questions were answered in a mostly timely manner. The bad: The house is a bit run down. Shutters/blinds don’t open, the fridge had a broke shelf, the patio furniture was old and very dirty. The ceiling fans are dirty. The backyard is not well maintained. Long grass and broken/discarded flower pots. The pool had algae around the edge and the water was cloudy. There was a full garbage can upon or arrival on the patio. Dishes in the cupboards were dirty. Some cups had dried beer in them. There was no soap for the dishwasher (we bought some) so we wondered how dishes got washed before our arrival. But the worst was the sliding glass door that is used to access the backyard. It barely would slide and most people in our party couldn’t open or close it. It needs to be replaced. It was horrible. I don’t usually leave bad reviews. I let the property manager know about the pool and the door. Someone did show up to “shock” the pool, but we were told that no one had time to fix the slider. Before leaving this review, I let the manager know of all of the issues. The response was just “understood”. No apology, no promise to get things fixed for the next renter. Nothing.
