Welcome to Farndale Cottage: your home away from home in the North York Moors. This beautiful two-bedroom cottage boasts its very own hot tub and sleeps up to four guests in total luxury. So, whether you'll be relaxing in the peaceful surroundings of our private 60-acre estate or venturing further afield to explore the Moors and beyond, Farndale is is perfect place for your next Yorkshire getaway.

Inside Farndale Cottage - You enter Farndale via a bright and airy porch, and then continue through to the open plan living space beyond. The lounge area features a cosy wood-burning stove and a comfortable sofa; perfect for snuggling up with a good book and perhaps a glass of wine! Speaking of which, no self-catering cottage is complete without a fully-equipped kitchen. Farndale's features all the amenities you would expect, as well as a dishwasher, wine cooler, and a washer dryer. All kitchen utensils, crockery, and glassware are provided for you, and you will receive a welcome hamper full of local treats on arrival.

As you venture left from the lounge, you will find the master bedroom with a king-size bed, and a pleasant view over the central courtyard and the private garden. It features a dressing table and large walk through wardrobe. The luxurious master ensuite bathroom has a large bath and overhead shower. Turning right in the kitchen brings you to the second bedroom featuring twin beds and views out on your private garden. The bedroom also features a wardrobe, smart TV an ensuite shower room. Throughout High Oaks Grange you will find luxury Hypnos mattresses in every bedroom, ensuring plenty of peaceful sleep. Your bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are all provided.

Entertainment For All - We have the whole family covered with the smart entertainment system in Farndale Cottage, and you can always stay connected to our high speed WiFi. Simply pop in the password and connect your devices, so you can post holiday snaps, watch a movie, or plan tomorrow’s adventure with ease. In the living area you will find a 43” LCD Smart TV with Google Chromecast, bringing thousands of movies, live sport* and catch up TV to your fingertips. Both bedrooms in the cottage feature wall-mounted Smart TVs, for those lazy mornings you can enjoy on holiday.

Outside Farndale Cottage - To the front of Farndale Cottage there is an enclosed patio garden with outdoor seating and a barbecue, so you can enjoy some al fresco dining when the sun is shining. If a hot tub is a must-have requirement for your holiday cottage, you’ll be pleased to know that Farndale has its own private hot tub outside. At the end of a long day of fun holiday adventures, there’s nothing better than enjoying a peaceful and rejuvenating soak! The hot tub is optimally heated to around 38 degrees: slightly higher than the average core body temperature, which has a naturally therapeutic effect on the body.

Parking is available for one car at the cottage, and further parking is available onsite if required.

Dog Friendly - We know how much fun it is to bring your dog on holiday with you, and with miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside on our doorstep, Farndale Cottage is the perfect dog friendly holiday cottage for you and your furry friend. Dogs are charged £8.00 per night per dog. We provide bowls for your dog during your stay, and also some treats. Holiday collar tags with our contact details on are available from reception, for you to use during your stay.
