Das Sundance Beach House befindet sich direkt am Pigeon Cay Beach, einem atemberaubenden, 3 km langen StĂŒck unberĂŒhrten, weißen Sandes mit Blick auf das schöne tĂŒrkisfarbene Wasser des Exuma Sound.

Das Haus hat einen spektakulĂ€ren Blick auf das Meer und wunderschöne SonnenuntergĂ€nge. Das ruhige, klare, karibische Wasser mit seinem sandigen Grund ist ideal zum Schwimmen, sowohl fĂŒr Kinder als auch fĂŒr Erwachsene. Direkt hinter dem Haus befindet sich Pigeon Creek Back Bay, ein geschĂŒtzter Gezeiteneinlass, der sich perfekt zum Kajakfahren, Knochenfischen und Beobachten von Wildtieren wie Vögeln, Meeresschildkröten und Rochen eignet. Gehen Sie den Strand entlang bis zur Spitze oder radeln Sie die Straße hinunter zur alten Kirche und schnorcheln Sie an den Korallenriffen, um bunte Fische und Korallen zu sehen.

Das Haus wurde 2017 fertiggestellt und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 2 Schlafzimmer, jedes mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem eigenen Badezimmer. Die Schlafzimmer sind durch einen großen Raum fĂŒr ultimative PrivatsphĂ€re getrennt. Das große Zimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche sowie einen Wohn- und Essbereich. Das Wohnzimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine Bluetooth-Stereoanlage und einen Smart-TV mit Apple TV. Alle Zimmer verfĂŒgen ĂŒber Highspeed-WLAN. Beide Schlafzimmer und der große Raum blicken auf das Meer mit französischen TĂŒren, die sich zu einer ĂŒberdachten Terrasse hin öffnen. Es gibt Deckenventilatoren im ganzen Haus und viele Fenster, die fĂŒr eine gute Brise sorgen. Beide Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert. Ein VorfĂŒhrraum auf der Westseite des Decks ist ideal zum Grillen, Essen, Faulenzen und Beobachten des Sonnenuntergangs wĂ€hrend des Abendessens.

WĂ€hrend Ihres Aufenthalts im Sundance Beach House können Sie die Einrichtungen des Pigeon Cay Beach Club nutzen, einem kleinen privaten Resort, das nur wenige Gehminuten den Strand hinunter liegt. Dies umfasst die Nutzung von FahrrĂ€dern, Kajaks, Kanus, Paddle-Boards, Boogie- / Skim-Boards, Surfbrettern, SchnorchelausrĂŒstung, Spielzeug, Spielen und einer Leihbibliothek. Sie können auch die Honour Bar nutzen und im Restaurant speisen, das tĂ€glich zum FrĂŒhstĂŒck und an mehreren Tagen in der Woche zum Abendessen geöffnet ist (weitere Informationen erhalten Sie bei der Ankunft). Das nĂ€chste LebensmittelgeschĂ€ft befindet sich etwa 1,5 km entfernt oder 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad.

Beautiful House on the beach

Sundance Beach House is situated in a private area on the island. The beach in front of the house is awesome. The house is very well appointed, in fact we couldn't believe how clean, well maintained and cared for the home is (thank you Leslie). The kitchen has all the amenities that you would need - we weren't missing anything while vacationing. The bedrooms overlooks the beach and it sleep well with the sound of the ocean. But our absolute favorite part of the home is the patio/deck that overlooks the ocean and beach! The house is the perfect place to relax, either on the deck or down on the white sand beach. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend Sundance Beach House.

Beautiful home
steps to the beach, Host was great..checked in and offered help. This was our first trip to Cat and the weather did not cooperate ( mostly 60s
and even 50 one day,,Yikes) . We therefore didn’t get much beach or fishing
 our main reason to go
but it was beautiful! The island is rustic 
restaurants were limited so we cooked in
and not easy to find good wine
 but we’d go back. Especially to this house..cat island has the nicest people and views to die for!

We loved Sundance Beach House. The house was equipped with everything necessary to facilitate a pleasant holiday. Sundance is located on a beautiful, white sand beach. You cannot beat the location. Check in and out was easy and Leslie, the property manager, was lovely and kept us aware of the power cuts that the island was experiencing. All in all we had a great vacation and would love to return.

A fantastic vacation from start to finish! We love Sundance, we will plan a longer stay next time. Everything about this villa is top notch. A very well equipped kitchen and excellent housekeeping. A perfect beach that was ours alone most of the time. Leslie is a great property manager. This villa and location exceeded our expectations.

Peaceful, Cannot beat the Ocean View

Relaxed, beautiful beach views, lulled to sleep nightly to the sound of the surf, with a full kitchen, two bedrooms each with double (full) beds, two very nice bath/shower room. Manager two properties down and so responsive and helpful (wife broke her foot on the trip, and they were so gracious to find some crutches for her. Locals friendly, open.We recommend it highly.

Best vacation ever!

As much as the pictures show the beauty of Sundance, it is ten times more amazing in person. It's so peaceful and tranquil, the perfect place to recharge. We will definitely be back. Two key points: 1. The bugs are very prevalent at dusk, so make sure to put on bug spray at that time or you will get eaten alive. They didn't really bother us at any other point during the day. 2. Be prepared to make a lot of your own meals. There are restaurants but they are few and far between. The best option is to plan a menu for the time you'll be there and to stock up at Alvernia Food Store when you arrive. It is right by the airport and well stocked. We can't recommend Sundance enough!! You will not be disappointed. It's close to perfect.

Merveilleux séjour

La maison de Leslie est parfaite, avec une dĂ©coration trĂšs soignĂ©e et beaucoup de dĂ©tails trĂšs bien pensĂ©s. L’ensemble Ă©tait d’une propretĂ© irrĂ©prochable, la literie de trĂšs bonne qualitĂ© et la cuisine trĂšs bien agencĂ©e. Pour ce qui est de l’environnement, on ne peut pas rĂȘver plus bel endroit. La trĂšs grande plage qui est juste devant la terrasse est sublime avec un sable blanc trĂšs fin et une eau magnifiquement transparente. La communication avec Leslie a Ă©tĂ© excellente. Le lieu est parfait pour un sĂ©jour de rĂȘve, trĂšs loin du monde et de l’agitation.

Love at First Stay!

We fell in love with this property and Cat Island! The house is exactly as pictured and described. It was clean and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. If seclusion is what you’re after this is the spot for you! We seen two other people on the beach the entire time we were here. Leslie was an amazing host! She had lots of tips for snorkeling spots and restaurants to grab a bite to eat. We had some storms that knocked out the power, when it came back on we discovered a couple breakers were flipped, Leslie responded quickly and reset everything to get us going again. Will definitely be visiting Pigeon Cay and Sundance again in the future!

Beautiful island paradise!

What a wonderful place to spend the week between Christmas and New Years! Once we figured out the flight connections, everything was a breeze. Leslie is a perfect host
 helpful but not intrusive. A 30 minute drive from the airport led to seclusion on a beautiful stretch of beach in a well-maintained and stocked house. I am reluctant to recommend only because it might mean that I am unable to book it in the future.

Anniversary Trip

Words nor pictures can begin to describe Sundance or Cat Island! It was our deserted on an island perfect vacation spot. When you park all you see are the trees and shrubs, but when you walk up the sidewalk the view over the hill is breathtaking! The house is perfect, both bedrooms have an amazing view from the bed. The sand was like walking on a cloud, the softest I’ve ever felt. We were there for 4 days and never saw a soul on the beach! It was well equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner on the grill a couple nights. Call Ricky Dean for your fishing needs. Tito’s also for fresh lobster. We also stopped one afternoon on the side of the road when we saw local men coming in from fishing and bought fresh conch. Yardies is a must for dinner! Vernon at Alvernia was our favorite guy on the island! He picked us up from the airport, told us where to eat, he took care of us! There is an abandoned church on the same road as Sundance, Leslie’s husband told us to snorkel there, it was beautiful! We also drive west on the road behind the other beach houses, until it ended, and snorkeled there, also beautiful! Leslie, the house manager, was amazing! She answered my hundred messages leading up to the trip and had our drinks and groceries at the house when we arrived. MOSQUITOES MOSQUITOES are the ONLY downfall to the island! We took sawyer repellent and it helped a lot but we still had to fight them. Even walking down the beach at sunset, they were swarming us.

Amazing

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for 9 nights. It had everything we needed and more. The architecture of the home and location was amazing. We had the beach to ourselves and the water was perfect most of the time. It was low season so we did most of our own cooking but did get a chance to eat at Hidden Treasure, the food and Trevor were off the charts. You do need a car for exploring and shopping. Leslie stayed in touch with us and answered every question we had. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect place to unwind

We loved spending two weeks at Sundance Beach House. Everything in the house is well planned out - well equipped kitchen, the bedrooms are full of light, with comfortable beds and quiet air conditioners. We especially enjoyed a nice selection of books and playing cards. The house has a lovely breezy deck that overlooks the sea (very convenient for watching kids or just hanging out) and a grill area with screens that help to keep mosquitoes out. The only thing that was not ideal for us (because of young kids) is the fact that the bedroom walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling. This means that there is no sound insulation of any kind. Our kids are light sleepers, and we couldn't watch movies or wash dishes when they went to bed. Everything else though was absolutely perfect! We drove around and agreed that it’s the best beach house on the island, ideal sand, calm waters suitable for little kids, and secluded location. A perfect place to unwind. Be prepared that the food choices are limited, and there is not much to do on the island. We hope we will return.

Best house and beach

We love the Bahamas and love to out islands and explore. Sundance became one of our favorite,The house is Beautiful and very comfortable and the beach is so calm and clear blue. If you live in a big city like us and want escape the hustle and bustle of the city this is your place ! We are definitely coming back.Thank you again for accommodating our little family ,we left with amazing memories.

More than we expected

We were totally blown away by everything about the property. Pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the setting. The house itself is extremely well laid out and fully stocked, and the property manager was very helpful. We definitely plan on returning.

Absolutely magical!

From our first glimpse of Sundance Beach House, it was more than we could have ever wished for. Perfectly appointed and a view that surpasses anything that can be imagined, 6 days here was not long enough; by the end of the first day, we were already planning a return trip! Note the mail boat schedule (it matters for milk etc. for coffee/tea)-next time we will grab some groceries in Nassau to bring with us, like produce and steaks. Odette at Yardie’s and Trevor at Hidden Treasures-both terrific. The bugs were not bad at all, only a few noticeable right after the rain. Leslie and Ned were wonderful and saved us on more than one occasion (jumped our car, for example!). 98% of the stay, ours were the only footprints on the sand. Peace, quiet, a blanket of stars that words can’t describe
.from start to finish, it was the honeymoon we dreamed of, and we can’t wait to go back! ♄

The perfect relaxing getaway

What a beautiful house and relaxing week . It's our 5th time on cat island and first time at the Sundance house. You are just so close to the beach that you can hear the waves when you sleep. Fully screened doors and windows allow you to have an inside/outside feeling and get a light breeze in the house. House is sparkling clean and you feel welcome and at home immediately. We love the set up with the big kitchen in the middle . My husband cooks a lot and was happy to have everything he needed. House is very quiet and very private. ( that's super important for us). As usual on Pigeon Cay beach we saw less than 10 people walking on the beach during our stay. Beds are very comfortable too. We could not believe how much sleep we got. So relaxing. A specials thank you to Leslie for arranging our stay and leaving us all the privacy we wanted. We will definitively come back to Pigeon for the privacy and the crystal clear turquoise water. We also enjoyed walking every day to Alligator point. It's a bit of a walk ( 4km) but you can go by car too. Thank you for sharing your little paradise with us.
