A great lodge in a beautiful location surrounded by wildlife and bush. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the generous buffet style food included in the room rate is really excellent indeed. They also have themed evenings including traditional Braai barbeque, fresh stir fry cooked to order and ribs etc. The rooms are really nice and clean and have a fantastic bathroom with separate deep bath and shower. The included game drives were awesome, really well organised and guided and we saw so many Lions, elephants, zebra, giraffes, and so much more! Decent WiFi included but with a daily 500MB limit. Highly recommended, a perfect stay all round, thanks I hope to be back!

The experience provided by Bakubung is great The staff are all very friendly and helpful the safari experience is excellent and the food served in the restaurant is prepared to a good standard. Definitely good value for money.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, great game drives, good food from the buffet. Pool area is nice too, they offer nice children's programs. All in all a great vacation.

Magical holiday

Pros: Everything - can't wait to go back.
Cons: The sign posts after sun city could be much more obvious,. We missed the turning and got horribly lost.
Location: Don't bother leaving the lodge - embrace every minute you're there!!
Single mum with 2 kids - hard lodge to find - but once we were there, myself and the children had such an amazing 5 nights. The Rangers were so knowledgable and captivating - saw so many animals - everything from our wish list!! Rooms beautiful, pool area lovely, (winter - so water icy cold), but kids still swam every day. They loved junior Rangers and the playground and trampoline. The breakfast and dinner buffets were fantastic - such great choices, and drinks and wine very, very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
