Casa Chanty ist ein spektakulĂ€res Ferienhaus im karibischen Stil, perfekt fĂŒr Familien und Gruppen von Freunden, ideal fĂŒr einen erholsamen, exklusiven Urlaub, da Playa del Secreto ausschließlich den wenigen Touristen zugute kommt, die an diesem Strand vermieten.

Chanty ist ein Strandhaus mit 2 wunderschönen Wohnungen, die separat vermietet werden.

Das "Penthouse" mit 4 Schlafzimmern befindet sich in der obersten Etage (fĂŒr 9 Personen) und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das karibische Meer und den Strand durch eine kreisförmige Glasfront, die einen atemberaubenden 180 ° -Blick ermöglicht.

Die 2 Apartments sind völlig unabhĂ€ngig und teilen sich nur die öffentlichen Außenbereiche

Everything was very smooth for our entire stay. The beach is beautiful and steps away. The drive to Playa del Carmen for evening activities is quite short, but I recommend you get a taxi for the round trip.

Family vacation

Location : For us, the location was perfect. The home is located between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. 20 mins from the airport, 20 mins to Playa Del Carmen, 12 mins to Puerto Morelos for shopping , restaurants, and groceries. The stretch of beach is secluded with only the residences near having access to the beach. I rate the location a 10 Property : We stayed in the penthouse. The views from the living room, kitchen, and outside dining area are amazing. The bathroom and bedrooms are spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped for those that enjoy cooking. The pool and outdoor space is a great place to relax , eat and enjoy the sunrise. I rate the penthouse suite a 10 Staff : Our first two days we had Beto ( chef ) make us breakfast and lunch. He was very accommodating and the food was great. Daily the staff checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. One of the owner's lives onsite ( detached house in the front of the property ) he's always available to help and answer questions. I rate the staff a 10 Overall 10, we would rent this again.

Great getaway

We stayed in the penthouse for one week at the end of March. Pros: Location - the beach is phenomenal, the outdoor area is so welcoming, well organized and conducive to enjoying time and meals together. It’s close to Canun, Puerto Morales and Playa del Carmen for day trips. The house has everything you need but it’s definitely not luxurious - more like a family cottage. All staff and host are very friendly and helpful. Dogs on the property are great. Beach was cleaned of Sargassum every day and as a result was one of the best spots for swimming. Lots of beach area for long walks Nice and private except for any tenants on the lower level. Cons: Some of the beach equipment needs replacing - the paddle board leaked so much we couldn’t carry it back up the beach and the paddle is not very rigid. The loft with room for 4 is not very practical, it has a tight cylindrical staircase with two low beams at the top so any reasonably sized adult needs to bend over significantly to get in or out. There is no washroom up there so you’d have the beams and stairs to contend with if you get up at night. If there are people staying in the lower level you’ll need to be accommodating with regard to sharing the outdoor areas and beach equipment. We actually met some wonderful people staying on the lower level but it may not be what you’re looking for on a vacation. We had a fantastic relaxing time a Casa Chanty - the location and views make it so you can’t help but unwind. Would recommend.

We love Playa

Views from the property are beautiful! The kitchen had everything we could need. The property manager was always kind and very helpful. My only complaint was that we never had hot water for showers or doing the dishes. We will stay here again!

The location was awesome, however, this property needs some renovation (furniture, broken handles& facets, kitchen utensils, ice tray, more hangers, etc.)with a priority to improved water system. Heated water was limited given 3 rental properties on site. The odor of water and drainage needs attention. Better filters and cleaned drain lines for odor.

Great bang for the buck

The property was pretty much as I expected based on the photos. The beach is fabulous, quite secluded, you will only get a few random people walking past you every day. The unit itself was clean and well kept, we will definitely stay here again. The pool is quite small but it was great to float in with a margarita in hand, great to wash away the salt water after you get out of the ocean. The seaweed is a problem at all beaches in the Mayan Riviera from March to late June. They cleaned the seaweed every day as best as they could, some days the seaweed was completely washed away, other times it was inundated. Overall this beach was very good compared to most other beaches we saw all along the coast. Great bang for the buck.

Very nice private house

All was smooth with rental and check in. The house is vey open and has a great view. The beds are comfortable and linen on the bedS as well. Towels are older and a bit scratchy. Kitchen is sparsely outfitted with cooking gear. Overall, the house needs a DEEP clean and spruce up. (Example: Kitchen drawers have food stains and crumbs in them and the flooring on the deck is cracked and could easily cut a persons foot.) The pool area is quite nice and the water warm and inviting. The beach walks every morning we’re fantastic and as expected there is Seaweed. Other properties cleaned the beach in front daily but this was not done at Casa Chanty. The friendly dogs were nice to come home to. Damien was lovely and helpful (though at times we steered clear due to his smoking cigarettes) Bottom line-lovely beach and pool area of Casa Chanty at Playa Secreto felt safe and private. These were the best features for us. We had Chef Beto come twice and he was super nice and the food tasty. I highly recommend him as an add on to your vacation.

Caribbean getaway

My husband and I stayed 10 days and loved every moment. The location is incredible. The property manager was available to help us with whatever we needed. Damien was the young many that cleaned for us a was great! We had Chef Beto cook for us several times and thoroughly enjoyed his food!

Private Beach Perfection

Cristina’s place is incredible - the house is just as it’s pictured, and the location is even more incredible. The house in is a private neighborhood so you have the gorgeous beach almost to yourself, and the views from the penthouse are amazing. We spent lots of time in the ocean and pool - you really don’t need to leave for anything once you’ve arrived. Definitely do a dinner with Chef Beto during your stay, and give the house manager’s three adorable dogs lots of pets!

We chose casa chanty after seeing the incredible pictures online. It did not disappoint. It is exactly as shown. The property is so beautiful and the house has everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. The location directly on the private beach is perfect. With the palapas, lounges and hammocks, my family utilized it all. Alberto and Damien are there for all your needs and can answer questions you may have about places to see and experience. The doggy welcoming crew are so cute and friendly, they made it feel more homey. Puerto Morelos is a close 15 min drive with groceries, restaurants and shopping. While there we celebrated my daughters 26 birthday and had Chef Beto cook a celebration dinner for our family. His food is phenomenal and they left us stuffed with a clean kitchen and leftovers. He brought fresh caught lobster which was the highlight of our dinner and topped it off with homemade churros. We usually vacation in Hawaii but now that we’ve found Casa Chanty, I could care less if I go back to Hawaii. Mexico will be our new go to. Much more affordable and friendlier people. One of my best vacations

This property is great it has a bungalo cabin vibe, the view is beautiful and there is so much room and things to do, really like the location it is quiet and quite seclusive I would recommend renting a car if staying here though because the taxis charge an insane amount of money everything we needed was a 10 minute drive away and if you want the life of cancun it is about 25 minutes although we had a good time only going there twice staying at the house alone is amazing and relaxing will definitely book again if I decide to come out to cancun again (PERFECT FOR FAMILIES)

Relaxing stay

Great place to stay - we rented the penthouse unit - the loft bedroom is closed off so is truly a bedroom - lots of space - for sure ask about BETO as a daily cook! You will need a car - there is not much to do but sand and surf. (Which was what we were looking for) Very relaxing time - we enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay. More people around the property than expected but it was still fairly private. If looking for a place to sleep in late, this might not be it but if you are a heavy sleeper it would be ok. Staff was friendly and helpful, house was very clean. Beach is nice, they rake it frequently. View is amazing! And washer/dryer didn’t really work so don’t count on that. Overall phenomenal experience. Thank you!

2nd time and will be back for a 3rd time

This was our second time there and it was even better than the great first time. This time we were on the top unit which offered nicer views. Plus the seaweed was not bad this time compared to last time. But they do go out and rake it up each day. Great place to stay and the staff is great to work with. Plus they have 3 great dogs that will go play in the surf with you.

Ready to book again!!!

I’ll start by saying we loved this place. It was exactly what my family and extended wanted for our annual family trip. We loved the simplicity and remoteness. Cristina is amazing and so so easy to work with. Great replies and easy arrangements. They provide everything that’s really” needed and allow you to leave your life back home. It’s a tropical beach house and understand this. Getting to from airport and to from town(PM PDC) is a snap. Can do Colectivo, taxi or rental car. Up to you and your $$/comfort level in a foreign country. Mexico is so easy and welcoming btw. I’ve never had a bad Mexico experience and have travelled to several locations over the years. The beach is amazing and clean. Israel is on it when it comes to keeping it clean and the seaweed in control. Side note, the Yucatán is being hit but a seaweed bloom that does affect the coast and your vision of what you expected. It’s everywhere. But none the less such as life and it’s out of anyone’s control. Work with it. It’s not a deal breaker in my opinion. The couple issues we did have(ac in room and water pressure) Alberto(on site manager) love this guy and his dogs, addressed it promptly and effectively in no time. Damien(on site staff) cleans place daily or not(if you request) while you are on beach or excursion. Never an issue and always clean. I could go on and on about all Casa Chanty is and isn’t and have you booking after you read my review but to be honest that may affect us from getting our dates for next time. It’s true Additionally. Cristina has other smaller units available near for smaller groups/ options. Thanks Cristina and Alberto Cio

Secluded tranquility

The view from the Penthouse is bar none. The management and staff are superb and always ready to help or lend a hand. We had Chef Daveed in-home personal chef service twice because it was so good. If you plan on doing any visiting, I recommend a rental car because you will need a taxi to get anywhere. Everything you need in the Penthouse and plenty of outdoor seating space for Penthouse and other property-guests. The Penthouse private-patio is a beautiful space to enjoy the ocean and breeze without the sand. We chose this property because we wanted a restful vacation. Not sure we really got that because we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos over 3 of our 5 day vacation. We would stay here again and Casa Chanty really does have the best-part of that whole beach.
