Quiet and relaxing 2-bedroom condo

Give away that getaway that you've been waiting for and enjoy the energy that Playa del Carmen offers for you.

This condo is perfectly located just off of 5th Avenue, which is the heart of Playa del Carmen, but just far enough from the high-energy bars and restaurants to be quiet and relaxing. The condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A well-appointed kitchen and a comfortable living room.

Enjoy meals out on the balcony and sunrises/sunsets on the rooftop. The condo is air-conditioned, has high-speed internet access (via Wi-Fi), and a smart TV. The Polo 54 building has a lovely rooftop plunge pool with a view of the surrounding area, including the Caribbean Sea. There are also some lounging areas and a gas grill.

The condo is beach-ready with chairs (not pictured), towels, an umbrella, a portable cooler for drinks and snacks, and a folding wagon that is perfect for carrying everything you need for a day at the beach. You can get to four different access points to the beach within an easy 10-to-15-minute walk.

There are restaurants of all genre within a few minutes’ walk. A very well stocked grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. The folding wagon is also great for larger grocery runs. There are a number of reusable grocery bags in the storage space in the living room.

No need to rent a car. Everything, from the beach to restaurants, grocery stores and much else, is within easy walking distance from the condo.

IMPORTANT!
- Reservations of 20 days or more, the cost for electricity service is charged to the guest, this is done with the reading of the electric meter upon arrival.
- Reservations of 1 month or more, 2 cleanings per month are mandatory, the cost is charged to the guest.(450 - 650 pesos each ,depending on the size of your apartment )
- The hosts only provide bath soap, shampoo, toilet paper and garbage bags for the guest's arrival.
After check in any of these materials will be assumed by the guest.

Apartment was clean and all information provided for access was accurate. Overall the facility was good, however, saying it is a quiet condo is a stretch. The dogs barking all night make earplugs a necessity. Also, neighbour playing extremely loud music until late at night, sometimes until 3am was not great.. (this is home beside the condo, not within). Close to 5th ave, and the beach, nice to have the wagon, beach chairs and umbrella. Many other condos dont have them. Grocery store withon 10 minute walk. Lots of restaurants. Sybil was very easy to talk to and prompt with any answers we needed.

Place and locattion were good, Sybil and Gabreil were terrific, area that require some attention are: Hot tub could be cleaner Pool water could be clearer very cloudy Pool needs a ladder very difficult to get out of if you have shoulder difficulties, Need railing on stair cases and on hot tub deck to prevent falling into stairwell at night, Not recommended for small children or people with any mobility difficulties, as getting out of the pool is very difficult

Beautiful place, but too many texts every day.

The place was as advertised but when we arrived the property manager, Sybil, disclosed that she was not expecting us until the following day! This was disturbing to us, given that we were right there with all of our luggage and tired from traveling. She acknowledged that there had been a calendar sync error on their part, and ultimately, we were allowed to enter our apartment early, which was a plus. There were other communication issues with the property manager, Sybil: she texted us multiple times every day about something or other, which felt odd and bothersome. For example: telling us to move our vehicle even though we were legally parked there, and also asked us if we minded if someone came to look at the place because it was up for sale (we said no), then on the last day she told us that we could not use the deck or pool area from 5 pm to 12 am because they were going to have an office party there, and she also wanted to know when, before 11 am we would be exiting. In summary, if you're looking for a place to just relax and not be bothered, this may not be for you.
