✔Please be aware that a Burn Ban may be announced at any time by the community. While the fire pit is one of the key highlights of this property, it’s crucial to follow all burn ban regulations strictly. Failure to do so may result in fines from the community, which guests will be responsible for. We will keep you informed in real time should any such announcements occur during your stay.
✔For VRBO or direct bookings, please note that even if a cancellation qualifies under the cancellation policy, the 10% payment processing fee is non-refundable. This is due to the fact that we use external payment processors like Stripe, which do not refund processing fees.

🐕 Pet Policy
Our standard pet fee covers up to 2 dogs. We’re happy to welcome up to 4 dogs total, but please note that an additional pet fee will apply for more than 2. If you plan to bring more than 2 dogs, kindly notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

✔Please check your email for your parking passes and the Rental Behavior Policy. Be sure TO PRINT the parking permits and keep them with you at all times. You will also need the same parking passes when you access the trash compactor in the community.

✔ Speed Limit in the Village is 25 MPH – 10MPH by Lakes and Amenity areas
Residents and visitors are encouraged to drive slowly and carefully within the community.

✔ Late check-out and early check-in may be available for a small fee, depending on availability.

✔ Undisclosed or unapproved pets will incur a charge of $250 to $500, per night.

✔ Locust Lake Village is a gated community. You will be required to register at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Our host will contact you via text message and email to obtain the necessary guest information. All guests must be registered. There is a rental fee of $35 for all renters in the community.

✔ Kindly note that the community may require a pet vaccination record as part of the registration process.

✔ Access to the community and its amenities requires a separate fee:

Vehicle Registration - $5 per vehicle. Each car must be registered for a parking and trash compactor pass. Security will have a list of vehicles registered at each address. This is for the safety of our guests and the community.

Wristbands - Each booking will receive 8 complimentary amenities wristbands. Eight wristbands will be provided for the designated guests, attached to a carabiner and hung by the front door. These must be worn to access amenities such as the lake, ski/sledding hill, fishing, and sports courts. Wristbands must remain at the property, and any lost wristband will incur a $25 replacement fee. Please note that water activities/rentals are seasonal.

Fishing - there is a $10 per person restocking fee if you`d like to go fishing. A valid PA fishing license is also required to fish in any body of water in PA. It can be obtained online or at the local Pocono Boat House on Rt 940.

✔ This property is located in a community that requires guest and vehicle registration for entry and access to amenities. Guests aged 12 and older must be registered. The booking covers 6 adults, and any additional guests aged 12 or older will need to pay a per-person registration fee. While we will not ask for your ID, please be aware that community staff or security at the gates or welcome center may request IDs for validation purposes upon arrival.

✔ Please be aware that during a burn ban, no open flames are permitted, including propane fire pits and tables.

✔ Please be aware that as the booking party, you are responsible for reimbursing any fines or fees incurred during your stay. In the event that a fine is issued, we will handle the payment and request reimbursement from you after your stay is completed.

✔Please note that we provide a limited amount of starter supplies for your convenience, such as toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and other basic necessities. These supplies should be sufficient for the first few days of your stay. For additional supplies, guests are encouraged to either purchase from nearby stores or bring extra items with them to ensure a comfortable stay. We recommend stocking up on any items you may need during your stay, as we do not provide regular restocking of these supplies.

✔IMPORTANT ANIMAL LIABILITY INDEMNIFICATION
The Property Management Company (“Manager”) does not own, keep, or control any animals permitted on the premises and shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by any animal belonging to a guest, occupant, or invitee. Guests may bring pets onto the property only if permitted in writing by Manager or the Property Owner and only under the condition that the guest assumes full responsibility and liability for the behavior, supervision, and control of such animals.

The guest agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Property Owner and Manager, and their respective officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

-Any injury or damage caused by an animal kept or brought onto the property;
-Any failure to comply with local animal control or leash laws; or
-Any violation of the property’s pet policy or house rules.

Manager is not required to inspect, control, or monitor the presence or behavior of any animal on the premises. If Manager becomes aware of an aggressive or dangerous animal, Manager may immediately remove or require removal of the animal and/or terminate the guest’s occupancy without refund.
Guests are encouraged to carry personal liability coverage through their homeowner’s, renter’s, or travel insurance policies for potential animal-related incidents.

This clause shall survive the termination of any rental agreement or guest occupancy.
