La Papalaya ist eine schöne und günstig gelegene Villa, die sowohl moderne als auch traditionelle Elemente vereint. Eine der wenigen Villen, die sich auf dem Land befinden und dennoch zu Fuß (1,6 km) auf einem flachen, bequemen Weg in das Zentrum der Strandstadt Puerto Pollensa gelangen (von wo aus es weitere 300 Meter zum Strand sind) und eine kurze Radtour nach Puerto Pollensa unternehmen Altstadt von Pollensa - Die Villa verfügt über zwei große überdachte Terrassen, einen privaten Pool mit römischer Treppe und einen Grillplatz in einem von Mauern umgebenen und gewachsenen, immergrünen Garten. Beide Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Bad. Das Anwesen verfügt über Klimaanlage, WIFI, UK-Fernseher mit Sky-Paket (einschließlich Sky Sports, Sky Movies und Kids-Kanälen auf Abruf), Fahrräder mit Helmen, eine PS3 mit vielen Spielen, Kinder-Schwimmjacken, ein iPad mit vielen lokalen Empfehlungen, eine bestückte Nespresso-Maschine, Lego und viele Brettspiele, Bücher und DVDs.

Die Art und Weise, wie wir die Buchung arrangieren, besteht darin, eine Anzahlung von 25% per Überweisung in Großbritannien oder per Kreditkarte zu leisten und den Restbetrag bei der Ankunft entweder in bar bei Ihrer Ankunft oder über eine andere Überweisung zu zahlen, die nachgeholt werden kann bis zum Tag Ihrer Ankunft.

Beautiful, clean and well stocked villa, with a great pool area in a brilliant location. Plenty on offer to entertain children from Lego to numerous tv apps as well as inflatables for the pool and bikes. Craig is a great host. Lovely villa - perfect for young children

We enjoyed our stay at the villa with our 3 year old son. The host kindly set up a very sturdy pool gate which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The villa is well kept and we made use of all the facilities - WiFi, toys, water floats and washing machine. We will certainly come back again, perhaps not in September as the mozzies were horrendous!

Excellent Villa

We had a lovely time staying at La Papylaya villa. The villa was in a great location with views of the mountains and we could walk into Puerto Pollensa. The villa had a lovely garden and swimming pool and was very well equipped. Craig was on hand if there had been any problems - which there weren’t. We would definitely stay at the villa again if we went to Puerto Pollensa

Another wonderful stay in this beautiful villa, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Very comfortable villa, with all your mod cons you might need for your stay. Fantastic pool and location. Our second visit and and equally as impressed as the first time we saw this property. Immaculately kept and is like a home from home. It is about a 20/30 minute walk into the resort along a path away from the road. Taxis were used on an evening in the dark. Would definitely recommend!

Happy times at Papalaya!

What a great week at this lovely homely and characterful villa. Really well stocked with everything one needed and beautiful art work that pleased us all. The bikes were a real asset when needing to nip to the local supermarket only a short ride away. Craig is an amazing host! All problems/ queries sorted immediately and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We did hire a car but believe the buses are brilliant and easily accessible. We all agreed we would love to return!

Just back from a 2 week stay in this wonderful villa. It truly is a home away from home and far exceeded any expectations we had. Excellent pool, clean and well stocked with everything you need. Air con in bedrooms is perfect and the beds are so comfy! Craig is a fantastic host and is on hand should you need anything. There are bus stops just a few mins walk from the villa (with a bus turning up every 15/20 mins) so a car isn’t essential but I would recommend getting one if you can as does make it easier for larger shopping trips or if you have children etc and also as there can be a bit of a wait for taxis at busy times. Located just outside the main resort but not so far out that you are isolated, with shops and supermarkets just a 10 min stroll away and only a 5 min bus/taxi ride from the resort centre. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa again!

Fantastic week’s stay

The villa was everything we hoped it would be and then some. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The pool and gardens felt so secluded but it was an easy cycle, walk or bus journey to the Port or into Pollensa. Craig is an outstanding host, so helpful and quick to respond to the queries we had. Being able to supply us with a UK plug converter and extra cycle helmet at very short notice. Even the restaurant recommendations were spot on. Thanks once again Craig, all the best Mark and family.

Fab villa

We loved this villa for 2 adults and two children 13 & 8. I can only echo the earlier reviews. Absolutely ideal location if you don't wish to drive. Only a 25 minute walk to Port de Pollenca and we got a taxi back only 7 euros. I used the bikes provided to go to the shops - there is a small shop about 2 minutes away and a larger supermarket about 5 minutes away. Everything you need is provided in the villa - it really was a home from home. Craig the owner was always at hand if you needed anything and solved any issues almost immediately. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

This is a brilliant property, cared for and managed by an exceptional host. You will see from the previous reviews that Craig is incredibly resourceful and helpful... We fully support those reviews. We had a few non-house related issues with flight delays and later a flat tire and Craig was supportive and very helpful with both… he had a mechanic with us within 30 mins to fix the tire which was very kind and a great relief. The house itself is perfect, it has everything you may need and more… and the beds are incredibly comfortable. If I were to nip pick, I wouldn’t say it is easily walkable to Puerto, it was so very hot when we were there and there is no shade on the first 15 minute stretch so not for the faint hearted and it is about 30 minute walk. That said the buses are great and easy and a bus stop only a short walk away from the house. We felt the photos didn’t do the garden justice, it is beautifully well kept and completely closed so you are fully in your own pretty space. We had a great stay and we were in safe hands with Craig. Thank you for a wonderful stay and all your help

Lovely villa

We stayed here for 2 weeks, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and anything missing was provided willingly by Craig and Maria. The villa is abt a 30 minute walk to the seafront but all very flat, you need a torch for the last 3rd of the journey if you decide to walk home but if you decide to get a taxi it is 6 euro. The area around the pool is now grass not paved. Pool area not 100% private as just a few trees separate you from the land behind where people were working a couple of days but to be fair not many people around.

2nd visit to this fantastic villa

This was our 2nd visit to La Papalaya and it was as great as we remembered. We hired a car this time to explore the island further, but were always keen to return at the end of the day and make the most of all the facilities provided at the villa. It was great to meet Craig this time and he was keen to know whether anything could be improved - we suggested some additional bits for the kitchen and he was back the next day with them! It is refreshing to deal directly with owners who truly care about their guests having the perfect holiday and nothing seems too much trouble. We will be returning again and have recommended to several friends who like high quality accommodation and a great holiday experience - we cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Very small grievances

A lovely bungalow in a convenient area, slightly difficult to access with other than a small car!. Enjoyed an 11 night stay, and suggest that a change of towels and bedlinen would have been appropriate , say, after 5/6 days. The TV proved temperamental, dropping 'out' frequently. Something amiss with either set or signal. Makes for frustrating watching!. Needs sorting.

We had a wonderful stay in La Papalaya! The house is cute, cozy and very well equipped, with a lovely green and private outdoor area that’s perfect for relaxing. The pool gets a bit messy due to the surrounding trees and every now and then a few bugs get lost in the house, but that’s understandable when being in a beautiful natural setting. The accommodation also comes with a stray cat that is very friendly. The location of the house is fantastic: peaceful and undisturbed, but not isolated. Pollença is full of charm, with a historic old town, a local market and great restaurants. The surrounding areas have excellent access to beaches, coves, the port, and the mountains. Shops are just a short drive or bike ride away. Bikes are provided, which is a lovely extra. The wifi is not great, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, since there are lots of other great things to do, anyways. The check-in was super easy and convenient. The best way to find the house is using the coordinates on Maps – after that, it’s easy to reach. Communication with Craig and Ben was always quick and very friendly. We had an amazing time and would come back in a heartbeat! :)

Majorcan rustic villa

We booked this villa because of location and excellent reviews Craig is indeed a great host and the amenities, especially bikes and many added sundries all added to a lovely holiday. The mosquitoes were unfortunately out in force during our stay ( not Craigs fault) but we felt that the extensive shrubbery around the villa and wet grass from rain and sprinklers didn’t help the situation. We were conscious of bringing dirt in / out of the villa too because of the muddy grass. We tried to solve this by making a door mat! We rarely were able to sit outside to eat which was a shame. . Perhaps a nice patio area could be considered ?? ! In summary, had a lovely holiday and the beach front is a very short bike ride away which was perfect. Thank you
