Communication from the host was good. She let me know a few days before our arrival that the hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing given that the hot tub was a key reason for reserving there. However, there was no hot tub at all (as shown in the picture). The place was small and rough around the edges. The bathroom light was yellowed and filled with dead bugs. The king bed mattress had a side slope. The private patio was not private (not as pictured), had limited seating and tumbleweeds covering the chairs and table when we arrived. The property is on a high speed road. Insta-worthy is a big stretch.

Perfect cozy apartment. Great communication with host. Probably not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are steps to navigate. Centrally located to Ronan and Polson. Not far to Glacier National Park and the Bison Range. Both are must sees. Would stay here aain.

Overall the place suited us for our needs. But the place was not very sanitry. There was constantly a bad odor coming from some place inside the house. We had to go out and buy multiple air fresheners and spray the house many times throughout our stay. The water had a very bad smell to it. We felt the house was not cleaned very thoroughly.

Insta-REGRET

The property was very remote and poorly maintained (fence immediately outside the door to the guest space was falling down, weeds choked the sidewalk and entryway, no light in the kitchen). One interior door and a large sliding glass/french door connected the guest space to the family's main living space and provided the homeowner access to the guest space. A curtain covered the sliding glass/french door. There was no lock on either door on the guest side to provide security or privacy. The entire set up left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. We left within 10 minutes, forfeited the rental fee, and drove to Polson to spend the night.

Warm welcoming stay

The host family were amazing with our dog and kids. Their amenities in the part of the house we stayed in were more than others provide as far as bathroom products, kitchen appliances and condiments and many others. I have 4 teenage boys and there was plenty for them to do and space to do it. Upon arrival the house was clean and cool from the heat with games and books for the family to enjoy. We met Deb the first night we were there and her family is very welcoming and for the most part genuinely concerned with how our stay. Felt like being with family. Both my wife and I agree that we would definitely stay here again. The layout is awesome and so are the views. Also the location is perfect being that its close enough to flathead lake as well as many others in the area. Thank you Deb for the opportunity!

The property was beautiful. We had our own private entrance into a well appointed guest suite. Lots of personal touches that made you feel very comfortable. I have only 1 suggestion . There should be a fly swatter available.

Arrival went smoothly. Easy check in process and our host responded quickly. The property should probably not be listed in Vrbo though as you DO NOT have the entire property to yourself. This is basically a small mother in law suite attached to the main farmhouse. It met our needs for the night, but I would not want it for a long term stay. Kitchen is tiny with basically a sink, small camper size stove top, and a refrigerator. You wouldnā€™t be cooking any family meals here. We did have access to the hot tub but there was a hefty per hour charge to rent out the pool space. We were only there for a quick one night stay so no big deal. It could have been cleaner as there was some dust and debris around the curtains and beside the bedroom dresser and the bathroom sink had some soap/toothpaste residue on the faucet. The bathroom was large though. It would have probably gone a long way to just weed and work on curb appeal. It appeared to be a working farm so my guess is that there is not a lot of time for this. I think the price was a bit steep for the accommodations but it was also the only rental around so maybe that is going rate for the area.

Great stay!

This was a great little place located away from the town. It was very quiet and serene, beautiful sunsets. We are a family of 6 and came to the area for a wedding. It was the perfect little place for a short stay. It was clean and the host was great! Easy check-in and check-out. It was everything we needed.

Montana Getaway 2022

Loved the rural setting of this property and the hospitality of the host along with the animals (pets & horses) that would greet us at times. Plenty space for 2 - 4 people depending on your relationship with your group. Parking is clear; however, pretty tight getting in and out of space. We did not spend a great deal of time other than sleeping, showering and resting at the property. We traveled to Glacier National Park, Missoula, and nearby Ronan and Polson. Visited Kerr Dam, National Bison Range, Museum of America and a few breweries and distilleries. So many options along with beautiful views no matter which way you look around you. We also enjoyed some hiking around the area.

Nice for a short stay

Space is comfy and had sufficient space for 3 of us, host met us and was a very nice lady. Hot tub was out of service. Could use a little tlc ( screen door doesn't work, porch was kind of trashy when we pulled into the parking spot, could use a good dusting, microwave and toaster oven were quite dirty.)

A little small but good for a short stay

The beds were comfy but the space was quite cramped for a party of six. We only stayed a very short night and arrived in the dark so I canā€™t comment much on the outside. Deborah was very responsive when asked questions and accommodating to our late arrival. The master bedroom and shared bathroom have a good amount of space but the rest is tiny. We tried using the foam pad for the futon but it had a stain on it and also didnā€™t seem to fit in the sheets and curled so we just slept straight on the futon. Maybe it wasnā€™t for that but it was shoved behind the futon so we thought maybe. Once the futon was out there was really no place for much of anything as the bed already took up much of the space. My husband was a little concerned about security as there was a sliding glass door and then multiple other interior doors that did not seem to be lockable. He also complained about waking to a large bug crawling on his arm. The kitchen is basically a closet with a two burner induction stove, a sink, and a microwave and small toaster oven stacked on top of the small fridge. We were not staying long so we did not use any of it except the fridge to store stuff overnight. It does say apartment sized kitchen but this is like a New York studio apartment sized kitchen. No more than one person can stand in it so unless thatā€™s what you are used to, I wouldnā€™t plan to cook meals. We ate breakfast at Bettyā€™s Diner which I highly recommend if staying here - fantastic food, service and views. The shower was very spacious and a welcome change after so much driving and towels were provided. The property looks like it is still under renovation so some things seem still slightly unfinished. The towel rack was not properly attached to the wall and kept falling and there wasnā€™t enough of the rack to hang more than one towel anyway so if you were staying here multiple days with multiple people Iā€™m not sure what you would do with your towels. We stopped here on our way to the Miracle of America museum which was incredibly interesting and unique. I would probably stay here again for another overnight but not longer with a group of 6 because there was just not a lot of space. For a couple it might be ok.
