IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE AT THE BEACH!!! BEACH!!! Spend it in Getaway Gulf — a light, bright, and beautiful home in town on Mary Ann Street, just a short walk to the beach and close to everything Crystal Beach offers. The soaring ceilings, large windows, and open layout make the entire home feel welcoming the moment you walk in.

The main level features a spacious kitchen and dining area to the right and a large living room to the left with two couches, a love seat, two padded chairs, and a TV. Down the hall are a closet, a stackable washer and dryer, a full bathroom, the master king suite with an ensuite bathroom, two additional king bedrooms with a Hollywood‑style bathroom, and a bunk room with two full‑over‑full bunk beds.

Upstairs is an open commons area with four queen beds, a TV, a table with four chairs, and an additional king bedroom with a bathroom that also opens to the commons area.

Outside, guests enjoy a covered upstairs deck with two loungers, two high‑back chairs with drink holders, and a table with four chairs. Under the house is a shaded gathering area with a picnic table, three tables with four chairs each, and a charcoal grill.

Parking is available in front of the house, under the house, and on the lot we own next door to the right of the home behind Ibis Isle, another home we own. No parking is allowed on the street at any of our houses.

Getaway Gulf is perfect for families, groups, and beach lovers who want a beautiful, spacious home close to everything Crystal Beach offers.

Guest booking must be 25+ and staying for the entire reservation

Maximum occupancy: 14 guests

No EV charging is allowed

Only approved parties, events, or gatherings

Any disruptive or unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal from the property

No smoking or vaping inside the home

Dispose of all cigarette butts properly — cigarette butts on the ground bring a $150 cleaning fee

No fireworks on the property

Guests should message through the booking platform for the fastest response

We send important messages before and during your stay — please read them, as they answer most questions

Adult pets are allowed with prior approval and a pet fee

No pets on furniture or beds

Pick up all pet waste

Rinse sand off before entering the house

Getaway Gulf does not have a rear deck

Keep gates closed if applicable

The home does not have a yard

Children must be supervised on decks and stairs

Linens are supplied, and all beds are made before arrival. Each bed has sheets, pillowcases, and a blanket or comforter.

This home is set up for great coffee, with both an automatic drip coffee maker and a K‑type brewer so guests can enjoy their favorite cup.

The home has central air conditioning that cools the house well and keeps temperatures comfortable. For proper AC operation, keep windows and doors closed so it can run efficient.

There is no public transportation on the peninsula, and rideshare services are not reliably available, so guests should plan to drive during their stay.

Golf carts are not provided. Guests may rent from Crystal Beach Golf Carts, and we recommend Randy at 409‑679‑1448, telling him Amy sent them.

🛥️ boating
Guests can launch boats at Stingaree Marina, the Boyt Road ramp, or the state ramp near Rollover Pass. These provide easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and nearby bay areas.

🎣 hunting
Hunting is a popular activity in the area, and guests have access to excellent nearby locations. The J.D. Murphree Wildlife Management Area and the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge both offer opportunities for waterfowl and other seasonal game.

🍷 winery tours
Winery tours are available within a short drive of Crystal Beach. Nearby options include Frascone Winery in Anahuac, Ceccoli Vineyards in Winnie, Yepez Vineyard in Baytown, Haak Vineyards & Winery in Santa Fe, and Clear Creek Winery in Kemah.

🪂 parasailing
Parasailing is available through Third Coast Parasail in Crystal Beach. Riders enjoy wide open views of the shoreline and coastal scenery.

🌊 water skiing
Water skiing is available near Bolivar Peninsula. Guests must bring their own boat and can launch at Stingaree Marina, Boyt Road, or the state ramp near Rollover Pass.

⛳ golf
The Ranch – Wallis Smith Community Golf Course is located on Bolivar Peninsula and offers open fairways and a relaxed coastal setting.

🐬 Galveston Island day trips
Guests can take the Galveston Ferry, often seeing dolphins during the ride. Once on the island, they can enjoy Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, the zoo‑style Rainforest Pyramid, restaurants, shopping, and historic attractions.
