The photos of the unit are exactly as described however, the building and the building amenities are not. When we pulled up to the Praia beach club building I thought it must be a mistake as the white building pictures listed looked nothing like the structure in front of us. The building was gross, dirty and looked poorly taken care of.
The next thing we noticed while going to our building was a huge pool that my son was so excited to swim in but come to find out we would have to pay a lot extra to be able to use. The pool and description of the use of the pool was not in the listing at all. We did not use the pool because of the extra fee we’d have to pay.
The listing also is described as beach front or on the beach, it is not. You have to walk uphill to the main promenade and then downhill to the beach this felt very misleading in the description. We did like the location of the building but perhaps would have looked elsewhere if knowing it was not “On the beach”.
Our unit was ok, very very small for 5 travelers. The beds were rock hard, we had to ask for blankets after a very cold first night, which were brought right away on our second day but we did t know we’d have to ask for blankets. The shower is awful as far as the water getting everywhere if you’re not aware of the shower head and where it’s pointing. We had many many wet bathroom floors because of this issue. Knowing all that I know now, I probably won’t stay here again.
