Welcome to our charming fisherman's house located in the historic Ribeirinha area of Portimao, Portugal. This picturesque neighborhood is known for its fishermen houses, narrow streets, and stunning views of the Arade River. First and foremost, our fisherman's house is the perfect place to experience the local culture and way of life. The Ribeirinha area has been inhabited since Roman times and is steeped in history. You can wander through the streets and discover hidden treasures such as the Chapel of St. Anthony or the Museum of Portimao.

The house itself is a traditional fisherman's cottage that has been lovingly restored to preserve its original charm while providing modern amenities for your comfort. The interior is bright and airy, with whitewashed walls. There are two/three bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a fully equipped kitchen.

One of the highlights of our fisherman's house is the rooftop terrace with 3rd external shower and loungers; which offers views of the river and the historic skyline of Portimao. It's the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine
The Ribeirinha historic area is also home to some of the best restaurants in Portimao, where you can sample fresh seafood and local specialties. You can enjoy a meal on one of the many outdoor terraces overlooking the river or take a short walk to the nightlife of the town center or Rocha Beach,

We’re a few minutes drive from the most popular beaches: praia da rocha, praia do alemão, praia do vau, prainha, 3 irmãos, Ferragudo and Alvor (where our sister property is).
Walk to Praia da rocha takes 25 mins but the shuttle bus takes you from the doorstep in 5 mins as does Uber or car. There’s also plenty bike and scooter rental options to enjoy the town and surrounding area.

Go Golfing: If you are a golf enthusiast, Portimao is the perfect destination for you. The town is home to several golf courses, including the Alto Golf and Country Club and the Penina Golf Resort.

With Two full bathrooms plus rooftop outdoor shower it’s ideal for couples as well as small groups of friends and families. On the ground floor you’ll find comfortable living room with dining area as well as the downstairs bedroom;
To the first floor accessed through traditional staircase you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen, on the 1st floor is another bedroom with king size bed and premium mattress, small balcony and bathroom with walk in shower; 2nd floor is accessed through a showered in light staircase. On the 2nd floor you’ll find a master bedroom with with its own bathroom and terraces access. There, you’ll find the sun deck, with loungers, Jacuzzi Bath and seating.
The 90m2 property benefits from super fast fibre WI-Fi allowing for both work and streaming your favourite NETFLIX or cable shows on our large high def TV or own devices. Great base for exploring beaches of algarve, surfing, festivals or golf.
