Overall ok stay, close proximity to a lot of places and some great restaurants. It was also at a great price and free parking. The only 3 issues we had there -
The elevator broke down in the middle of the night and we had to take the stairs . Also had the firefighters come in to get us out of the elevator which broke down. The staff helped facilitate but they appeared to be shortstaffed . Definitely not anyone’s fault, but speaks to the property needing a little bit more upkeep and maintenance.
The parking though free, is not guaranteed. People who know about the free parking but not necessarily patrons , randomly park here which may lead to lack of spots if you come late on a weekend( we were here on Friday night). The staff did inform us about the same so we were able to wait till someone left their spot.
It’s also a little noisy but we’re not light sleepers so didn’t have an issue with that. But someone who may be a light sleeper maybe disturbed by the noise from other patrons or just general Portland downtown
