Magnificent Home on Banks of the Willamette River, Hot Tub, Fire-Pit, Cornhole, 9 Miles to Downtown

On the main level there are three beautifully appointed bedrooms all with king beds. The one furthest back is slightly larger and has an entire wall of windows with more unbelievable river views.



Descending downstairs, you'll find the lower-level lounge and media area. This cozy and quite room is where the group can sit back and relax while streaming your favorite shows. There are two additional spacious bedrooms with king beds on the lower level as well. They share the second full bathroom. You will also find the washer and dryer on this level if needed.



One of the most special parts of this home is the backyard oasis. A new hot tub has been installed allowing you to soak your troubles away while enjoying the sights and sounds of this riverside paradise. Whether you want a competitive game of cornhole or just to relax around the firepit, there is something for everyone. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We are excited for you to be one of our first guests at the River Forest Retreat.



We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.



PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

This is a lovely property. I’d probably stay here again but not in rainy season. The basement flooded the first night we were there. Notified VRBO through the app. Though they came and cleared the gutters, the he basement was still flooded and made the two bedrooms in the basement unlivable. We ended up sending part of the family to a hotel. We checked out early (notified them ahead of time that we were). We were refunded one night stay (the day we checked out)

Good place in a good spot but weather changed and it was impossible to figure out the thermostat and the property manager not helpful ie "send us a picture". We gave up trying to figure it out when we saw that it thought the date was in June---three months ago. We were all in our mid 70s and the stairway downstairs was borderline. It all worked out but it could be better.

Family Wedding

The “River House” was perfect for our crew. We were in Oregon for a family wedding and the house was a wonderful home base for us. It was clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Views of the river were amazing and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. When we had a little problem with the coffee maker the property manager immediately jumped in to solve the issue. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

Thank you so much! This was the perfect place to stay for a group of friends. We watched baby geese play while drinking our coffee in the morning. Our plans ended up getting canceled due to rain so we all just came back and relaxed. We will hopefully come back and stay again.

We had an amazing stay – I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for my daughter’s graduation weekend. The layout of the home was ideal: the main bedrooms were nicely separated from the patio and basement areas, so those who stayed up late didn’t disturb anyone needing rest. I was also impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was – every cabinet had thoughtful extras, and we had everything we needed and more! We also appreciated the abundance of fresh towels, which came in handy with a full house and a busy weekend. It was a big milestone weekend — we even met the boyfriend’s family — and this home made it all feel comfortable, relaxed, and memorable. We had an unforgettable weekend in an outstanding space – thank you for helping make it so special!

beautiful home and location

This home was so well maintained, furnished and the location and view were amazing!Being right on the river was so peaceful and we loved watching the morning activity on it, including the goose family and their baby.Amazing kitchen and baths as well.Would definitely stay again. Would only suggest repairing the stairs down to the water so kids could have waded and fished. We did walk a mile to a park near by that had access to the river.

The house was beautiful and the backyard was amazing. The neighborhood was quaint and the trees were so pretty. The hot tub was great! The downstairs space accommodated hangouts of 10 people! Perfect for game nights! Close to airport and to downtown but away enough to not be in the hustle and bustle!
